Rex is the complete opposite, he puts too much emotion into games. Sometimes it works but it can also lead to letdowns (i.e. the 2010 AFCC Game)

We came out flat that game and could have won it if we had another quarter to play. It happens.

We've come out flat many times under bowles. Would you chalk that up to to much emotion from him?

Fair enough. Sorry for being testy.

But, I'm sick of people saying that Rex Ryan's emotion or bluster is what made him a bad coach in the end. It was all good when we were winning.

Same with Bowles. Everyone was saying how great it was that TB always was even keeled when we were winning. Not so much love for that style when we've dropped 4 of 5.

    Fuck it.

    Rex is gone.

Bowles is our coach now. He has to get this turned around quick.

Rex Ryan took over a (9-7) Bills team with the best defense in the NFL and has made them (5-6) with an average defense. What a winner!

Maybe Bowles just doesn't enjoy turning every coaching situation into a photo op like Rex so clearly does.

rex is a middling coach with a big jackass personality that makes him lots of money and gets him lots of attention. he will be done by the end of next year in buffalo.

A couple of comments from that link:

I'm completely baffled by how the Defense looked against the Pats....
compared to the Chiefs. It was night and day different, and shows me that Ryan loves to gear up for the Pats and doesn’t prepare the same way for everybody else . I was suckered into his rhetoric when he was hired, from now until he’s fired, I’m very much in the "Prove it" mindset. Rex, you let your team down yesterday and your side of the ball looks like a mess. by jkra0512

Adding to what jkra says I would also point to an almost total inability to adjust to what the opponent is doing. If you start out with a conservative defensive gameplan, fine, but if you then discover that the other side has figured it out and is beginning to execute an offense that takes advantage of the major weaknesses in your plan, you need to make changes. by Macktruck

Ignoring those quotes won't make the issue go away.

Even though you're a Bills fan you probably have the mental capacity to identify the quotes in the article. They usually use quotation marks, just a heads up.

Let me help you. There are zero quotes from that article where players are "calling out Rex" and you know it. You made that up. But you can keep choosing not to admit that if you want.

Rex Ryan wanted to leak fake disease to get J.J. Watt to drop in 2011
"I sat down there and he kind of real casually -- the whole thing was real casual -- and he just said, 'Hey, man, you're gonna be gone by the time we get to pick, so here's what we're gonna do: We're gonna put out a fake medical report that you have some sort of disease. I don't know what it is, whatever, we'll make it up. And you're gonna drop, but we'll pay you like you're up there [in the first round]," Watt said of Ryan's plan, via ESPN.com.

    Good ol Rex.

Hey man, Rex Ryan wasn't the GM.

    LOL.

    Wow, what a fucking douche.

I normally just blow over some of the shit he does, but wow. What a douche.

That's what Hall of Famer Don Shula did with Marino.

He started the cocaine rumors, they spread like wild fire and he dropped like a stone.

Remember, Dan played in Pittsburgh back in mid-late 1970s and Pittsburgh was a big hub for cocaine--especially in pro sports. Keith Hernandez said he used to buy there, Yogi's son got nailed when he was a Pirate, Marino had a party reputation so it totally fit that he was a coke head.

    really dude?

Watt said he was very flattered hearing that from an NFL coach, as you never know where you really stand pre-draft.
He also added that it was at no point serious.

it's amazing how you guys get your panties so bunched when it comes to Rex.
it's like even a sense of humor gets lost as people look to be outraged over the most minor things.

Fuck Dan Marino. For all the Super Bowls either of them won, I'm more than happy to look back with pride on rooting for Kenny O.
