Quick question. Has anyone done: 1. Co-pilot of the game 2. Pregame field access 3. Radio booth for a quarter 4. Prekickoff on field experience If you have done it, can you share what you ended up paying on the auction and what your experience was like? Deciding if/what I should do with the points. TIA
I've done pregame experiences several times. A couple were master card surprises and a couple from the market place. If you've never done it you will have a good time (bring a camera) Seeing how there's not much else in the marketplace I'd say go for it Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
They were all different, the one from MC surprises I got to hang out with Freeman McNeil, another time was a tunnel run, pregame field pass for warm ups. My son did half time ring of honor yesterday and got to talk with Klecko for a bit. I'm not sure if they are committing to anyone specific experience when they say "pregame experience" could be a number of things. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
Pre-field experience is terrible. This is the one where you are on the field for the national anthem. They line you up on visitor's sideline. You don't get on the field until warm ups are over, but you see both teams come out of the tunnel. I got a great view of Kirk Cousins, but could barely see any Jets. The whole time we got yelled at to stay behind the yellow line. I would NOT recommend.
How do mastercard surprises work? I went to all 10 games last year and all 8 so far this season and haven't gotten anything other than through auctions or the marketplace. Do they physically surprise you at your seat?
As someone who had season tix forever (35 years) up until the start of this reward point stuff two years ago, I read the posts in this thread to see how it's going for you guys. One one hand, I hate seeing the Jets ownership seemingly lead everyone around by this perk system, but on the other hand some of you get to do things you'd otherwise never have had the opportunity to do. Through a friend, I attended the summer practice thing at the stadium (bleh) and also the NFL draft thing at the stadium (only slightly better) but I'd probably enjoy the summer camp stuff in Florham Park. If it were me, I would probably try to generate some value after all the money spent on Jets tickets but I'd also resent the fact that I'd have to keep up on it so much in order to get something back after everything I've invested in the Jets. When I sit in the stands at a game and see the hordes of fans holding the flag, I kind of feel sorry for the people doing it. I know they make you arrive so early and don't let you leave after the "rehearsal". I'd much rather tailgate. If anyone from the Jets is reading this - what you should do each week is host a giant VIP Tailgate IN THE LOT that Reward Points can be redeemed for. Food and drink included. That way, loyal PSL-payers can at least get one big tailgate party per year on the house. Do they do this already? Seems like a no-brainer to me. Most of us live for tailgating. Beats being crammed with others to hold a flag. Embrace what your customers really enjoy about a Jets Sunday.
