FWIW, that's not what he did last year - he mostly took the second best receiver 1-on-1 with no help, while the best receiver got doubled.

It's not realistic for Revis to get no help at all on a top gun, and it hasn't been for a few years.

That said - putting another team's #2 on an island has a lot of value, if the scheme takes advantage of it...

It's funny that the peak of the Sammy Watkins hype train this year has come after this last 2 game stretch where he averaged 3 catches for 26.5 yards. Whatever helps them sleep at night, sure was worth not having a 2015 first rounder.
