I understand we have been losing lately, but still, we are in pretty good position to make the playoffs if we start winning again. The amount of negativity on this board is ridiculous, even given our past history of failures. Our most recent history under Rex was very positive, including a season where Rex himself thought we had no chance and we ended up making the playoffs somehow. I was as upset as any fan with our loss last week, and our losses against the Raiders and Bills. But if Bowles can right the ship, and we can win at least one challenging game down the stretch, we could still make the playoffs! Let's try to remain optimistic people!

We're also sinking like a rock. Look at those last 3 games, we have to be at least 8-5 entering that stretch to realistically be talking playoffs. That entails winning the next 3 games, all at MetLife stadium. Are they all winnable? Sure. But the way this team is playing I'm not confident they can beat any 3 NFL teams in a row.
The last 2 games have been lost by a single score. Both of which that we had, but somebody dropped the TD ball. We aren't THAT far off.

Are you that stupid or just a huge troll? The AFC 6th seed is 5-5. The Jets are 5-5. The Jets are TIED with a team who has a playoff spot. The seeds you listed are a result of TIEbreakers. So, they're TIED.

True, but if the team, and by that I mean the guys that are on the field right now, executes the way we know they can, then the next 4 games are very winnable.
You're a fuckin idiot. They are tied for the final spot. The tiebreaker only comes into the picture when the season ends and there is still a tie. Last I checked, the season doesn't end on week 11. Therefore, the Jets are in a 4 way tie for the final seed.
