At this point all I want to do is beat the damn Dolphins on Sunday. If we get that done and wake up on Monday at 6-5, I'll be rooting for an 8-7 record going into Buffalo .... Which means we'll need to beat Dallas, the Giants, or the Pats. ONE goddamn win out of those three games. At least if we're playing for a 9-7 record, the final game will be watchable. There's nothing more demoralizing than being eliminated before week 17 when the rest of the league is talking about playoff scenarios. If we can be sitting at 8-7 going into Week 17, at least we'll have one too.
I agreen with this strongly. The problem I have is the Jets need to win a minimim of 4 more games and I just don't see how that happens based on the last few weeks. The one positive is that the D held the texans to absolutely nothing in the 4th qtr. They were playing conservatively, but still they did nothing. If we punt the ball away instead of going for it on 4th down, who knows...probably still a loss, but you never know.
You guys lost to TJ Yates and Alfred Blue.........just keep your mouth shut......your embarrasing yourself!
The biggest winner from this weekend? The Texans and Chiefs, almost every team that was hovering around .500 lost. ANY one of those teams could've put some distance between them and the pack instead Jets, Bills, Raiders. While the Texans and cheifs seem to be trending upward, the other three...not so much
The early Division and Conference loses always come back to bite you in the ass. It's like a leadoff walk in baseball...
Just like the other 32 teams. You act as if everyone beats the Patriots except Buffalo. Brady's career record is 191-55. He's never lost to the Falcons, Bears, Jags, Vikings, Cowboys, Eagles and Bucs ever. He's 19-6 against the Jets.........dont act like it's easy to beat this guy.......he's the freaking goat......makes me sick just saying that but its the freaking truth!
Just like the other 30* teams (Patriots can't beat themselves, Bills aren't included). And maybe if it's so impossible to beat them he should devote some attention to other teams. He's obsessed with a team he can't beat.
Because they are in our division dumbass and have owned it for over a decade.........it's not that hard to figure it out sheesh! You dont think the Jags, Texans and Titans weren't obsessed with beating the Manning Colts? Eventually you have to be able to beat the best team in your division if you ever want a chance to actually win the division!
When you play 16 games you should care about more than just 2 of them. You'll find out in enough time that Rex puts 90% of his seasonal effort into the 2 NE games and 10% into the other 14.
I hate the Pats with a passion but why were you rooting for the Bills? As ugly as it has been for us, we're still in the playoff hunt. We're gunna need these 5-5 teams to continue losing
Haha it is essentially impossible to root for them. I wasn't rooting....I was preferring a Pats victory
