Im not saying he does, but if he were wearing number 31.......

Just another example of the fans' bias and schizophrenia.

Did he give up more than just the 1 touchdown? I can't remember. He had a great break on a ball on 3rd down that kept the game alive late in the 4th, even though Fitz threw the ball right back to the Texans. Hopkins severely pushed off on that touchdown too. Not a great day but he's still better than Cro.

    I guess its right here.
He got torched by the same guy who beat revis. Can't hate him for that.
He also had the sack/fumble so he was an even player yesterday i thought

First of all he was pushed off by Hopkins on that touchdown play, that was pass interference. Secondly Hopkins is one of the best in the league, he even beat Revis. Thirdly, Marcus has been one of the best playmaking defenders in the league this year, despite limited snaps. Slowfartie gets torched on a weekly basis by nobodies, he's not making any plays. Zero. And he's the one constantly getting flagged. How do you have the nerves to compare the two?

Cro gets hate because he has a decent track record and is paid like an elite CB.

Williams doesnt have the track record and makes jack shit for a salary.

He also played the best out of an of our CB's yesterday too. So what exactly would be the point of that thread? Being burned by a top 10 WR warrants one?

This thread is absurd. Cro has no pics this year and Williams has like 3 or 4.

The good news is that we come out next year with Revis, Williams and Skrine at CB and Pyror and Gilchrist at safety. Thats a very good secondary if I'd say so myself. The only problem is that guys like Davis and Cro get picked on all day. Both need to leave and we go into next year with linebackers and our Oline in dire need of being fixed.

But if Cro makes that exact play........all im saying.

As I said in the oft-overlooked OP
Im not say MW sucks. Thats what gets resoonded to, though. Its the way of the internet forum.

Cro has gotten torched all season. MW has had 1.5 sacks, 4 picks and FF...and he did make a key break on Hop yesterday on 3rd down that gave the ball back to Fitz so he could inevitably throw a pick. Also getting burned by DeAndre Hopkins, a top 5 or 3 receiver in the league is alot better than getting burned by Andre Holmes, who had 53 yards going into the game with us.

The problem Shonn, is that Cro DIDN'T make the play and in fact, his mistake cost the team 40+ yds. His play all season has been sub par and honestly, he's not worth the cash we're paying him. If nothing else, leave him on KR where he seems to excel. He doesn't like to tackle anymore and will run like a gazelle to keep from getting hit. Play Williams in Cro's spot and if Cro doesn't like it? Tough...

My question is...why was Bowles playing Revis' backup 1-on-1 with one of the best WRs in the league with no safety help? Absolutely insane.

Hopkins pushed off on both TDs. He's playing physcial, great, but it needs to be looked at. I got a feeling he does it a lot.

Bowles coached a shit game. Hopkins was making Revis look like a complete fool leading up to the bomb. You knew it was gonna happen.

Why there was no safety help is baffling. Revis isn't even that good anymore. You know how good Hopkins is. He's the most targeted player in the league.

He also has the most touchdowns and 1st downs out of any receiver. We just let TJ FREAKING YATES crap on us because we gave them Hopkins 1-1 all day. After you see him burn Revis the first time (the overthrow) you don't let it happen again. It's common sense.

If that Decker catch turned out to be dropped and we declined all those penalties I'd have my pitchfork ready. I just don't understand it, could it be possible the intelligence level to be a head coach is much lower than I thought?

wake up call.... A lot of WR do that a lot because they know they can get away with it 99% of the time.

I know it's common. I don't need you to call my room. I was just pointing out that he did it on both TDs

I have been skeptical of Williams since to some extent I defer to the CS and their not playing him. But I am starting to come around. Yes he gave up that TD, but it probably should have been offensive PI. He made some other good plays though.
