Exactly... in the last month we've had 3 TD's dropped by Marshall, Decker and now Smith. Big shock that we lost all 3 of those games by 1 possession

He's garbage, his going for the big play instead of doing his job indirectly led to a TD. How many yards did he give up on that play because he wanted to be hero instead of make a stop?

No way he uses those excuses. The NFL would be all over the Jets then for letting him keep playing.

I think it was like a 5-10 yard pass that went 40 instead. Tried to bait Yates into throwing the ball, then he wanted to jump the route but he's either too slow or just too stupid to make those type of plays. Marcus Williams had a similar play at the end of the game on a 3rd down where he baited Yates, difference is he was explosive and smart enough to get there before the receiver caught the ball and he almost had a pick 6, at least he broke up the pass when he got between the receiver and the ball.

Bowles better watch this tape REALLY thoroughly and then hopefully make a decision that could probably save his job by benching those old useless sacks of shit, including DD who plays like an old sack of shit with brain damage. We have to get guys like Cro, Pace, DD, those other 2 suckers on the D-Line (Bowen & Douzable) who are getting snaps over a talent like Coples, a proven guy in the past who kept making plays at DE/DT, over Mauldin who after his 2 sack breakout performance again wasn't being given any snaps, Marcus Williams who is one of the best playmakers in the league right now (tackles, sacks, interceptions, force fumbles). I mean honestly, what the fuck is going on with Bowles that he keeps playing these idiots? Is he trying to get fired? None of those bums make any plays? Why is he so loyal? What the fuck did they give him or tell him that he continues to play those guys? None of those idiots have made any plays! Despite starting all year! And then he shows up at the post game presser to call those young guys out. What a fucking joke. Fair enough, Devin dropped a couple of big balls. So did Marshall. So did Decker. Easier ones I might add. Yet you continue to call out the younger guys. What about Pace, Cro, DD, why do you protect those guys and give us your "they're playing fine" bullshit every week when everybody knows that those guys stink? Just makes no fucking sense. So if this is how he wants to coach this team, with his loyalty to veterans bullshit then fine, fire his ass after the season. I really don't care anymore at this point. It's like handing some homeless person a $100 bill and he just rips it up in your face smiling at you. Well, fuck you then, enjoy the blizzard later tonight. By the way, with Revis suffering a concussion I guess Cro and Marcus are going to start regardless. So there's that. He can still keep his shit nugget he brought over from the Cardinals in his starting lineup and he can keep the media/fans off his ass at the same time by being forced to start Marcus Williams. Great! I wouldn't even mind starting the next guy over Cromartie, whoever the fuck that might be. Skrine (who moves to the slot in the nickel), Dex, Dee, anybody. Just keep that fucker Cro off the field unless it's time to return a kick.

But...we'll see. I'm hoping for a new approach, a message today from Todd. I don't want to see him cuss people out in front of the media, he can do that in the locker room. But please go out there when you do your presser and make some adjustments. Start Marcus & Skrine at corner, start Mauldin over Pace, play Coples over Bowen, play Henderson & Lattimore over DD. Start there. And fix the fucking playcalling on offense. Find a damn identity already. One week it's pound the rock with Ivory, the next week Fitz comes out in the shotgun throwing 3 straight incompletions. What the fuck is up with Chan anyway? Is somebody mixing in drugs with his coffee before each game? Everything started out so well and now we're here with this bullshit, it's like Belichick sent over his trojan horses to ruin our season or something. But since we're the Jets I guess we can do that just fine by ourselves. We're experts at being terrible and not getting shit done. Bowles needs to do something today. If nothing happens he needs to get fired, now or after the season, I'll be off his "bandwagon".

If he's gunna switch Geno out for No Slide Fitz he should do it now. But I doubt it makes any difference. Changes to the OL qnd the D are what will win any remaining games this year. This has become The Concorde of Suck, Mach 2.

I am so totally amazed how they continue to look unprepared ! I cannot argue with anything you said except I just don't see them firing this guy after 1 year, I am totally off his bandwagon and his personnel mistakes along with in game decisions has us all saying "huh ? " but they could lose out and that could happen but I still can't see them shitcanning him,,,,,lastly TJ Yates ugh

2 great questions asked during his post-game presser, - "Todd, are you getting tired of repeating yourself about the team not making plays or playing situational football?" And "did Devin Smith start over Kenbrell Thompkins because of his draft status?"

Devin earned it over the years. Oh wait, this only works with washed up veterans like Cro & Pace.

Starting Henderson and Williams over DD and Cro seems a reasonable move at this time. No way GS should start IMO.

Unprepared? Come on. We only had 12 days off. The Texans however had 5 days off. Of course they're more prepared.

Hard to prepare for a team that runs plays they have never ran before (WC). And that HB pass option for a TD is impossible to prepare for. We preach 'run to the ball', 'gang tackle', etc, but that's exactly why a HB pass option works. LB Davis leaves his man and heads to the other side of the field in run support (run to the ball), only to have the ball thrown over his head for an easy 7.

I will agree Hopkins should have been doubled a lot more, even with Revis on him, since Hopkins was their only real threat. Especially when Revis left and Marcus took over.

The team has gotten just plain shabby. Mistakes from all quarters. A few nice plays and then something really awful. Not sure the talent is all in on these efforts.

REvis can no longer man up a really top guy with speed. Not every play. I can never understand a defensive coach leaving the middle of the field open like that. Not and leave a QB 5 seconds to throw the ball.

Oh, so no "I don't think we're regressing" comment today? That's a first.

Revis is garbage period and both Bowles and Mac should be fired for that move. He couldn't keep up with an old lady in a wheelchair if the game depended on it.

  16. Watching Bowles/players body language, it's as if the issues right now are well known behind closed doors but no one is speaking up. Is the D finally fed up w/ the unwatchable offense that puts them in constant putrid positions? Is the offense tired of the D acting so high & mighty when they come up soft in big spots? Is it "the new sheriff in town" w/ certain vets & Bowles being at odds w/ one another??

It isn't just no QB, no deep threat & no outside pass rush. Something is very wrong internally. Very wrong.

Revis has regressed some but I would not be surprised if we find out at season's end that this early season hamstring issue has nvere gone away. He does not seem to be able to accelerate. Just my opinion. I did not stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night

Yup. And not only is it dropped TD's, there are huge passes that could lead to TD's being dropped almost regularly. In yesterday's game on one of the first drives...Fitz throws a 40-50 yard bomb to Marshall that goes right through his hands. Another big gainer for a first down went through Smith's hands...and then of course the long TD that Smith dropped. Can you imagine if the WR's would've pulled those balls in? It would've been an entirely different game. A lot of us would probably be hanging off Fitz's nuts today.

Then why is Bruce Arians keeping David "I'm an absolute beast everytime I touch the ball" Johnson on the bench in favor of Chris Johnson. Why did the Cards have Zero timeouts left by the 4th quarter.
