Time to get back on track. Miami lost to the Cowboys today, the Jets lost to the Texans. Must-Win for both, clearly. Do or Die now.
At this point I have zero interest in this game. When's the last time we beat Miami at home? 2003? Feels like it The fact that we're so alive in the playoff race too bothers me about the state of this league.

Not like the Jets are (3-7). Most years if you are (5-5) you would still be alive. Playoffs are not in my mind right now though. Just want to win and get better. The team has been a mess the last month+.
Well other teams in the league are 3-7 and pretty alive as well. It's just a sad state of affairs outside of 3 or 4 teams. As for the Jets, Id like to think this is a game they should easily win, but the Fins always play their best against us on the road. To think we could be staring at last place if we lose this game is depressing after how high things were looking a few weeks ago.
Agreed. Can't let that happen. I feel like the Jets keep shooting themselves in the foot. They lose more than their opponents win.
Ha that's how I feel. I'll be there but right now I can't even get excited at the thought of even making the drive out to NJ. Don't know what Bowles can do to get these guys ready on what I'm sure is a short holiday week of practice come Thursday/Friday. But they need all the fixing in the world right now. On that note, I'm probably gonna take a break from the board until Friday. Doesn't pay to read through threads of frustration.
This will be the first game I have attended in a few years. Tickets were purchased after the 4-1 start...figured this one would be for making distance in the AFC East. Wow how things have changed. Must win game. Need to go 5-1 the rest of the way for playoff chances.
That won't be easy. I am pretty sure someone will get in at (9-7), but judging by the Jets's losses to key teams like the Bills and Texans, you might be right with (5-1).

Who cares if they make the playoffs now. They'll just be an easy opponent in the first round. Patriots are probably hoping they make the playoffs.
So a 4-1 start .....a 1-4 slump ,the 4-1 finish starts Sunday with a win over the Dolphins .I think we will finish 4-2 with the rest of the schedule possibly 5-1
