unless the oline remembers how to block--makes no difference who the qb is. To blame the qb on this is almost laughable
Jets need to throw. Even if Fitz is off the mark. 5 plays and a punt isn't going to cut it. At least the Jets would move downfield with the plays that do work, AND (considering how games are called now) even get a chance at PI call in their favor.
That was pretty bad. Gotta double team Watt and Hopkins because Revis just can't do it alone anymore.
Any good head coach after the first quarter would see how awful Breno is playing against Watt and would give him help on evey player but nope, Bowlsey and Chan thinks its a good idea to watch him get beat like a red headed step child play after play and give him no help. Watt has singlehandedly destroyed 2 drives and they refuse to double him.
Giacomini is one of the worst players we have. He stands around and watches the game while on the field of play.

I am not blaming the QB, I am saying that playing Fitz over Geno is pointless because this isn't a playoff team and one is still an unknown and one it is quite clear what the ceiling is.
The biggest problem is we have a qb who needs a running game. He doesn't have the arm tp take advantage of that secondary. What we need is creative game calling something that we lack and other teams have.
