yeah i did sorry guys i really screwed the pooch with the way i worded that. i know some of you guys know where he is at driving people crazy now. i might have gone and checked him out if i had gotten a link to the site he frequents these days this morning. its passed th0ugh. go sancho
my understanding is his general attitude and his derailing of threads coupled with his holier than thou attitude. he was asked to cool it with going into threads that had nothing to do with his hot topic points and completely derailing them and making it a 200 page thread of him vs the world. then he continued and continued again. I think it got to the point that folks felt he was destabilizing the board and people weren't allowed to have conversations without out mark sanchez or one of juncs other hot topics, see herm, see pennington, see Namath, see manning, see Hackett... etc.
Looks like Sanchez is starting again. Started around the same time last year too. Hopefully he doesnt blow it again.
Makes sense. That guy literally claimed to have never been wrong about anything football related ever. It takes a special type of douche bag to make that claim.
It's GO TIME for Sanchez tomorrow vs. the Buccaneers. I picked him up and I am starting him in fantasy tomorrow as Peyton Manning is out for me. Should be a good game for him.
Playing against one of the worst pass D's in the league so he should have a good game. Question is how much of an over reaction by the Sanchez fans there will be.
so if he does good its because he played against the worst pass D. IF he does bad its because he was always a burger flipper, right?
Don't think that's a reason to get banned though. He, at least, was never belligerent about it like some other douche bag that continues to post on this board.
Sanchez, like Rex, must never succeed because it will lead to crows becoming an endangered species from the amount TGG posters would have to eat alone. TGG loves the animals!
I personally never had a problem with a QB throwing INTs as long as said QB is making is making is helping the offense putting up points with his share of positive/winning plays. The INT, is at least a byproduct of trying to make a play. The problem is when you have a QB, like Geno, whose INTs far out weight the amount of positive plays he makes.
No if he does good people need to not act as if that is how he plays every game and look at it as part of his entire season and career play.
There's always been a major disconnect on this board about Sanchez. Junc aside, most Sanchez "fans" defended and continue to defend the premise that he was or is one of the worst QBs that ever live and that he should be bagging groceries let alone starting in the NFL. Conversely, at any and every mistake his detractors can't wait to point out how he's not a very good. I believe there is a very small minority that just irrationally despise the guy; maybe they hate Mexicans. Truth is Sanchez is neither as bad as or as good as either extreme. My take has always been that he was good enough to win with and under the right environment still had the potential to get better, though not great. I completely respected and agreed with the desire to want more from a QB, whom a lot was invested in. However, I thought and still believe it was foolish to allow that expectation or the national embarrassment of a play like "Butt-fumble" to get rid of a guy you know is serviceable without having his proper replacement. If you are not planning on getting compensation let the guy lose the job in competition, then cut him not the other way around. As Geno has proven, the grass is not always greener on the other side.
I'll be rooting for Mark today. I've never fully understood the visceral hate but I've come to accept it out of some dudes here. _
I am neither on the irrational hate side nor the over the top defense of Sanchez, I just get a kick out of both sides always going at it. Going back to the draft I thought he was picked too early and like most other QBs could have used time to get up to speed with the game before getting thrown into the mix. The bad contract extension is what sealed his fate with the Jets. I'll be pulling for Sanchez today because I want anyone but the Giants to win the NFCE.
