    So I get it, that dumbmie Todd Bowles gets us to the playoffs, we win an AFC championship and calls it a Season?

    I guess he calls Mac at that point and says ur right Mike "lets not get the season hinged on winning the SB"

    Considering we were 4-1, yeah it would be a huge disappointment. I never expected the Jets to win the division or win the super bowl but there is no reason they can't get a wildcard with the schedule they have. It kind of reminds me of 09 where we started 3-0 and had all the hype, then ended up falling to 3-3, then 4-6. This upcoming game is extremely important. 6-4 is a world of difference from 5-5 and we can't afford any more possible tie breaker AFC losses.

    So I take it from this (and many other) posts, Champ considers any season in which the team does not win it all is a losing season.

    Don Shula won 328 games in 32 NFL seasons.
    He only won two championships, though-- so really he was 2-30.

    Halas was a meager 6-42.
    Chuck Noll was better, 4-18.
    Paul Brown was 7-22. (AAFC+NFL)

    Lombardi was only 5-5, but I'm afraid that's as close as the NFL has ever come to a Champ's definition of a winning coach.

    My question then, is this: if all these guys are losers, then who the hell are we supposed to hire to satisfy Champ?

    BS! Only a certifiable lunatic would aim for the SB this season with the Jets' roster. It's not even with the realm of possibility.

    He never said that he'd be "happy" that they couldn't win the SB. What do you expect him to do, slash his wrists? You really are ridiculous. You need to quit following the Jets since they make you so miserable. They could win the SB, and you'd find some reason to bitch, moan and be miserable. You're absolutely pathetic.

    Yes we could. People make me laugh that say we are a playoff team but shouldn't or can't make it to the SB. Just get into the playoffs and anything can happen. That from the 1 seeds to the 6th seed.
