I was listening to a podcast before and the dude on there had a theory that he went through that whole :episode" when he found out. The timeline would make sense. He started to look older/lose weight. Maybe all that tiger blood and winning nonsense was his way of dealing with it? Or maybe it was some sort of mental breakdown.

You can't be cured of it. Pricey medicines can make it undetectable but its always will be in his blood.
I heard someone make the point yesterday that IF he takes care of himself , he'll probably live longer now than he would've if he continued with the drugs/wild lifestyle. He's never been known to be a guy that makes wise decisions though.
