begrudging props to the Giants for not falling for it. I think it was hoped that receiver would be uncovered
What's depressing about this Patriot victory is it feels like no matter what happens the ball will always bounce their way. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
For that to happen other NFC playoff teams would have to lose about 20+ players because of injuries during the 1st quarter. That's how horrible the Redskins are. If they would make it to the Super Bowl, they might lose by 50+ points to any AFC team to make it. Except if it's the Broncos. Peyton would keep the game close by throwing INT's with his noodle arm.
Agreed on that one. Plus, the majority of the people I know are Giants, Eagles or Cowboy fans so that would shut them up. Now, if the Jets could get in - that would make it even sweeter. Plus, I love the awkwardness of commentators trying to dance around using the term "Redskins"
I would imagine this game was a preseason top 10 game. It's still good but Seattle has lost it's luster.
Anyone else tired of the opening lineup routine of each player announcing their alma mater? I guess I don't really have a reason for disliking it, it just feels outdated/irrelevant.
Have always hated it. Especially the douchebags that draw out their idiotic school "ttthhhhhhheeeee Staaaate Univvvvvverrrsityyyyy ooofffffff Aaaaarrrrkkkkannass Piinnneeee Bbbbllluuuuuffff Ccccceeennntraaaalll. Or "The U". _
Did anyone see during the New England game that the play clock was running down on the final field goal attempt and it reached 9 while Gostkowski lined up before it mysteriously reset to 25 seconds? It also pisses me off seeing Brady in every god damn huddle that the officials have. Get the fuck out of there. A lot of quarterbacks approach the huddles and never say a word, whereas Brady looks like he's arguing before the call always.
This happens all the time and has been discussed ad naseum. It's not only consistent for all teams, but legal. And Brady is a competitive guy. Get over it.
Competition doesn't cover the fact that most players get flagged for yelling at the refs that huddle together to figure out the call. Get over the fact that he's the most protected player in the league and can do as he wants without repocrussions. Do you really think if one of your own players say Chandler Jones approached the huddle and hollered at them about the fall, that it would go without a flag? I really wish you Patriot fucks would just go away. It makes me want to go troll one of your boards so you see how god damn annoying it is.
So competitive he'd do ANYTHING to get a competitive advantage... Anybody see Russell Wilson's buttfumble tonight?
Michaels and Collinsworth were saying in the first half how you know it's going to be a defensive grind it out game so the 3 points are critical meanwhile, 61 points are on the board (two defensive TDs, though) and they're acting like they never said anything
