If Davis was the blocker and Decker was sent into the end zone to catch that pass we win the game. Did the defender cover Decker like a blanket on that play or did our coaches trust the wrong guy to make the play? I could be wrong but Kellen Davis is not who I trust with the game and possibly our playoff hopes on the line.
While my heart wants to agree ...he was actually open... ..and everyone in our Solar System was expecting a slant to Decker.
A lot of what went wrong on offense was on Fitzpatrick. He audibled into the 4th & 2 screen pass 2 yards behind the LOS. He also missed a LOT of open receivers and or passed to the covered one when there was another wide open. He doesn't see the field well at all. It's look at progression 1, then maybe two and if he's not open he's looking to run or take the sack. All that being said we had way too many drops, one for an INT and the special teams hurt our starting position as usual this year. The fumble really changed the game, can't give a Rex Ryan team that kind of momentum and expect to win. Our players gave this win away, we're definitely the more talented team. That being said I think Bowles makes too many excuses and doesn't take ownership or accountability for the mistakes HE makes. His time management skills are non-existent and his decision making is questionable at times. I just wish Bowles looked a little more passionate, rather than looking like he wants to fall asleep during the game while listening to 60s classics. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Being Stoic is not his problem, his problem is one that is seen in many rookie HC's. Real time game management is not as easy as it is in theory. (Or on a forum) Personally I think he will develope the balance needed, I thought he did a good job of letting the game develope against Philadelphia, but he did not have enough playmakers to win the game. He had the playmakers against the Bills, he just did not have the patience. When you listen to the audio of the game as he is talking to his guys, he does not sound like he is bored and wants to be somewhere else. He is very good with his communication.
I'm not sure what happened on that play I'm guessing Decker was the primary target, but the play blew up.
