What a fucking brutal game last night. 4 turnovers and we still had plenty of opportunities to win, but oh well. We lost. Now it's time for Houston. This is a game where we now have 10 days to prepare and hopefully get some of the key guys back to 100%. Houston doesn't scare me at all, but the way we have been playing it'll be close, no doubt about it. We need to pressure the shit out of Hoyer the entire game. Send blitz after blitz right up the middle and get in his face. Jets win 27-23 and move to 6-4
Must win game. What a difference a few weeks makes. We were rolling at 4-1, now 1-3 in the last 4. Need to win the next two to get to 7-4 going into the Giant game.
I expect the Jets to lose out or maybe win 1-2 more games tops, the Bills loss killed this team and basically killed any playoff chances. Fuck this team and fuck them vs. the Texans.
The best part about this game is that it's so far away. If the Jets were playing this Sunday I think I'd still be too bitter to care. I'm going to reserve my comments for this game until closer to the game as if I'm making my predictions now they aren't going to be objective and well thought-out, they will be knee-jerk and extremely negative. Which might still be the case a week from now but we'll see.
Hoyer is garbage and our defense should be able to feast on him. Maybe we'll see Pryor return which would be a HUGE boost for this secondary. It'll be interesting to see what happens with Fitz. Jets should use these 10 days to get healthy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
With Fitz having surgery today, I can see them starting Geno against the Texans. A team we should beat even with Geno there. If he has a great game, maybe leave him in the following week, if not back to Fitz. I'm no Geno fan, but remember, this was a rebuilding season. We may as well give him a shot against one of the worst teams in the league.
If Geno starts we go from being favorites in the game to it being a toss-up. As bad as the Texans have played we wouldn't be much better than them with Geno.
Not saying we are, but lets be honest, does Geno or Fitz really inspire hope that well even make let playoff? Let alone win any playoff games. Too many holes, too inconsistent. We could win the next 3 of 4 games possibly butI'm not very optimistic.

Gonna take a break from this site till about Monday... Need a weekend to cool off and get my head together so I can think logically for this game.. I suggest many of you do the same.
Macc came from the Texans so he's gonna want to win this game. He's probably already told Bowles to call Rex for some pointers.
Do or die for the season. Lose this and it's curtains for the Jets. 5-5 with 4 losses in the AFC would look pretty bleak for any sort of playoff hope. 10 days to get healthy and sort out these stupid problems. Losing 3 of 4 has a bad taste. Get going, please.
Waiting until next Sunday is going to be torture. Only saving grace is that despite being pretty bad, the Knicks are pretty fun to watch this year.
I'm gonna be in South America for the rest of the NFL season and into next year. Can anyone recommend some good online streaming sites (if they exist)? Part of me is relieved the Jets are starting to suck because I would have hated to miss out on a playoff run. Either way, I'd like to watch my mediocre Jets, so any help would be appreciated!
