All I know is that if we lose this game, TGG will be completely unreadable for a week and a half.

this is true but it also goes both ways. I think its worse on the other side. Man if the Jets win Buffalo fans/media will freaking explode.

They won a game so Rex's antics are back to being cute this week. They lose with our reject coach to their reject QB & coach and effectively damage their playoff chances for yet another year and its going to be ugly. It could get ugly enough there that the media really turns on Rex and the wheels fall off. The Jets have a real chance to just freakin bury Buffalo.

Gotta be a previously banned troll. One of those idiots that feels like they have to start a thread with every tiny thought that pops into his head.

this board, the media at large, and a good portion of the fanbase will irrationally melt down if the Bills win.

they've convinced themselves Rex is the worst coach in the league, and now the biggest Jets villian.
if they lose after that narrative, where does that leave us? they'll turn like sharks and start attacking their own.

    Or tie.

This game has a million X factors in it and a Benny Hill circular chase scene could break out at any time.

It will be amplified 10x because it's a previous coach now working for a division rival.

If the Bills win, it will be because the Jets are fielding a beat-up, thin O-Line, and a really beat-up, really thin set of safeties (which makes it REALLY hard to mask the fact that we have a really old, slow, and mediocre LB corps).

Really any injuries that come up during the game will be pretty devastating to this team.
Just look at our back-ups. The only places we have any depth left are D-Line and CB.

We'll have Coples playing FS and Cromartie at WR by the 3rd quarter.

I don't know what we'll do if our Kicker blows it.

I'm taking the Jets, 2-0. Skrine with the Safety.

I still don't understand where "luck" comes into play.

    Great thread though.

We don't need any "luck". We're perfectly capable of beating them like we would any other team. It's just a matter of bringing our A game.

The next man up, Marcus Williams, is actually better than Cro. 4 picks in 7 games with limited playing time.:D

Congrats. Finally in week 9 your superstar WR who thinks Bills fans are losers had his first big game of the year. What an unstoppable force he's been so far. He torched one of the worst corners in football last week, Revis better bring his A game.

There is nothing irrational about it. Melting down as a Jets fan has been ingrained in most of us for YEARS. It's called conditioning and the jets are akin to Pavlov, Jets fans are the dogs.
The Jets win a few games early, and we start salivating only to find there is no food coming our way.

Quit drinking the Rod Woodson kool-aid.

    https://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2015/11/09/pro-darrelle-revis-is-still-one-of-nfls-best-cbs/

"Revis has allowed only 46.5 percent of the passes sent his way to be caught, has surrendered only 253 yards and when targeted is yielding a passer rating of only 44.0. He has yet to be beaten for a pass longer than 33 yards on the season, and has only allowed 20 receptions over eight games."

They rank him the #3 CB this year. He gave up 50 yards to Allen Robinson and 46 yards to Amari Cooper, two of the top young WRs in this league.

Please try to argue against this. It'll amuse me.
