Calvin Pryor: IK being a captain is "definitely disrespectful". On Rex saying the Jets 2014 draft class isn't very good: "part of it has to do with coaching" On what Rex could have done better last season: "play guys in the right position" Get this kid out there so he can decapitate someone
Rex better hope Calvin doesn't make a sideline tackle near him. Rex could wind up like Sean Payton a few years ago.
Hopefully we're more focused on the game than being "disrespected" by Rex. The final score is all that matters and if this is seriously a distraction to our team we're mentally fragile.
Not sure why anyone's skivies are in a bunch about this. It's just good theater and irrelevant to the game. _
Not a distraction but hopefully serves to motivate as this team has looked like it's sleepy head coach the last three weeks.
I like Pryor, but he shouldn't be talking all that much if he's not playing on Thursday If he's playing, I'm all for it because I agree with everything he said
It would not shock me at all. Remember, this is the same fan base that loudly cheered their starting QB getting hurt a few years back
That was one of the most disgusting experiences I have ever felt at a game. Chad never deserved that. _
I agree with everything Pryor said, except the bit about playing guys out of position. Rex played the guys he had on the roster. If they aren't so good at playing football, maybe they should try harder to be better football players. If Calvin is only useful as a conventional in the box strong safety, well, he may just not be such a great player after all. And, not for nothing, in position, out of position, in the back seat of your sister's camaro, he's not playing at all this week.
Today's Star Ledger: As usual, Rex Ryan’s Tuesday morning press conference was an experience, as the always entertaining Bills coach turned up in a Clemson football helmet and let loose on everything from the top-ranked Tigers to Ryan Fitzpatrick’s beard. But I am sure the reporter really wanted to say.... As usual Rex Ryan represented his professional football team at Tuesday's morning press conference in the only manner familiar to him, that being, acting like a total douchebag.
