Jeff Fisher did the same thing when they played the Skins last year, he made like six players captain that represented the results of all the picks they received for the RG3 trade. Nothing new or surprising here.
Again, that's based on a trade and players they acquired. It's not putting the guy who punched the starting QB in the face as a captain. You don't put a guy who served a suspension from the league because of punching a teammate in the face, a captain.
The difference between Bowles and Rex is that TD has a mental age of a 51 year old and Rex the mental age of a 15 year old
I think the Jets should name IK a captain. Without his leadership Geno would be the starter and we'd probably be 2-6.

That's not the same. IK broke this guy's jaw, he assaulted him. He got suspended and the average person probably would have gotten arrested for this as well. Make a joke about it all you want, but naming him captain for this game is basically praising him for what he has done. Just disrespectful. But what else is new, Rex is obsessed with the Jets. That's why he went to Buffalo, that's why he signed IK in the first place, that's why he invented this new thing of naming the guys that played for the opponent team captain, so he can justify doing it with IK. He never did that before. We never had any captains last year or before. He's a piece of shit, plain and simple.
On other tabloid gutter news, rumor has it Rex has a much smarter brother named Rob, who is far and away the best defensive mind in the Ryan's family as clearly substantiated by his constant verbal performance with the Saints. I so hope the headlights in NY Friday's papers will read " Rex, IK and the Bills get KO'd by the Jets" This game is in our house and Jet fans better let him know that. Send the traveling circus back on the road .
I've always liked Rex, and I think he has a right to resent the Jets because he got set up to fail his last year here. That said, it was time for a change. This is a low-class move though, Ik knocked Geno out for (basically) the season due to Fitz's efficient play. Some fans are mad about that, others elated, but it seems to be throwing an assualt in the face of a second-string player by using a second string player. This will have no bearing on the game, due to the fact that neither player actually plays, but still a low-class move.
I think its kind of a disrespectful thing to do to Bowles, to be honest. Rex isn't making himself a lot of friends, I don't believe. I can't imagine that's going to help his broadcasting career, when his coaching days are over in a season or two.
1st Quarter of the season he averaged a QB rating of 82. 2nd Quarter = 105. 6 out of 8 games he's had a 93 qb rating or better (although 1 game was for 5 passes).
