Lon you should know that it would take 10 (and I am being generous with 10) straight VLT to bring fan base out of the "Egyptian desert" and into the land of "milk and honey". Hang in there kid it is going to be a long journey. Totally get you point though. The J!-E!-T!-S! JETS! JETS! JETS! are.... wait for it ......... 5 and mother effing 3! Yet people will always find a pint of shart in a lake of totally AWESOME. I love our beloved Jets but you must understand that a lot of long time fans (including yourself I hope) are waiting for the shit storm to hit. Just like 2008 when the Jets marched in and beat a 10-0 Titans team on the road to bring their record to 8-3. Only lose the 4 of 5 to finish the season ( in a Tom Brady less AFC East mind you) closing with a record of 9-7 missing the playoff. That is true pain my friend or have you forgotten? Bottom line is the Jets "fuck you in the drive thru" and until they prove otherwise people are going to look at their wounds and have horrible flash backs of all the years that "could have been". I really do not see how you can bag on them for that.
The outcome of previous seasons has nothing to do with that of this season. Gambler's fallacy. You're allowing yourself to get psyched up for no reason. This roster, management, front office etc. is completely different from that of the 2008 team and other Jets squads that lost in the past. My advice: Just take each game - each season, really - one at a time. Enjoy the ride and remove your negative emotions from the outcome. You have no control over the result whatsoever, so why let yourself get upset?

A lot of NE fans wanted the Pats dominated the Jets too, but they didn't. Pats could have easily lost that game so I guess the Pats have been exposed and they actually suck too.
