Well, there you go. A bunch of guys that missed big kicks and lost games for their team in recent weeks. Being a kicker sucks. I'll take Scobee or Graham.

I would probably pick Scobee of that group.

those are some terrible options. Hartley's injured. Scobee is trash. Feely hasn't really kicked in over a year.Graham hasn't really kicked in 2 years. I'd just sign some young guy who lost a job in someone's camp over these bums/washed up guys

I'm semi-serious, but I would almost rather not kick at all. I hate settling for field goals when it's less than 4th and 5, especially when the FG is beyond 40 yards. I would like to see a trend of NFL coaches being more aggressive on fourth down.

I don't see an issue with Cundiff for a couple weeks

Pretty sure Rontez will be waived soon.

Does this mean Folk could potentially lose his job if the new kicker does a good job?

Also, I'd go with Cundiff, Bullock or Shayne Graham.

Bullock can be a permanent K (young) if he gets past his missing of XP's. This would be a good opportunity for him. I hope he's been practicing his ass off the last 5 weeks and not feeling sorry for himself or anything like that. He could be the NYJ K this Thursday.

The new regime isn't really tied to Folk but I'd find it hard to believe that they'd move on from him even if Bullock hits everything. He's too proven and too good. What makes more sense is seeing how Bullock does the next few weeks, then if he does well either IR Folk or bring him back once he's healthy and cut Bullock, if he struggles. Folk will be out a minimum of 4 games, so he could easily miss 5 or 6 as well. But he's no spring chicken, he's turning 32. Probably makes 2-3 times of what Bullock will be making.

If that happens, then don't be so sure Bullock doesn't run away with the starting job even if Folk comes off the IR.

Would be a bit surprising. I just read that Folk actually signed a new 4 year deal last year.

    Bowles presser:
    - Kicker will be signed tomorrow.
    - Folk will be out 4-6 weeks.
    - Surgery will be up to Ryan (how long he can handle the pain). Might have surgery Friday, if not probably after the season.
    - Dee might be activated tomorrow. Is healthy & ready to go.
    - Issues on defense: Busted coverage, missed tackles.
    - Doesn't worry about the Bills. It's Rex' team, he can name anybody he wants team captain.
    - Only 2 snaps for Devin bc he didn't get many reps in practice either (why activate him then?)
    - If Pryor/Bailey can't play Rontez will step in, or Martin (PS). Plus we have some corners that can play S.
