This is gonna be Rex's Superbowl. Coming back here with both teams in contention makes it even bigger too. As sour as the fanbase is on Bowles right now I cant imagine what would happen if the Bills come in and rough us up on Thursday. Billboards and website domains might be purchased.
I think Rex's sees games against greats like Brady and Manning as his Super Bowl. With Fitzy at the helm, the Jets should coast to a win.
True in a sense. But he's had those games already. He's never faced a former team , outside of 2 games against Baltimore , and that wasnt really a bad breakup like it was for him here. Id imagine he wants some revenge on Woody and co. I still think Rex got a raw deal here in the end. Too much incompetence around him , nobody would've been successful with that.
If we play like we have been playing the last few weeks the Jets will be obliterated by Buffalo...this team has taken on the persona of its coach who would rather take a nap then play football. How the hell is fuckin jacksonville in the game until the last minute and a half?
Yeah, I know, but did you actually watch the game? EJ Manuel was the QB, he played like shit and cost his team the game, EJ's not going to play against us, Tyrod will and he's no EJ.
Bills are dangerous. Putting up 33 points yesterday was big for them. That's something Rex couldn't do with us, score that many points. He is going to want to destroy us in front of his old fan base and team. We are injured and the chemistry has been a bit off lately. This all just seems like a recipe for disaster.
It's time we bring out Ridley. He has fresh legs right now half way through the season. We could use a new burst out of the backfield. Shit i wish we dropped Stacy and picked up Jo Randle (if we can find him) we could use some speed, change of pace back.
Having a healthy Sammy Watkins is huge for the Bills, they're a different team with Tyrod Taylor and Sammy Watkins healthy. The Bills looked dominant yesterday, at a time when the Jets are injury plagued and look sloppy on all phases.
Hopefully both teams come back to their mean and the Jets get a good hard fought win on Thursday. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Tyrod Taylor, LeSean McCoy, Sammy Watkins, Percy Harvin, Karlos Williams, Seantrel Henderson, John Miller, Kyle Williams, Leodis McKelvin, Aaron Williams.
It doesn't count when you lose games while your players are hurt. The Bills are 4-2 and we're 5-2. With all the injuries on both sides Thursday's game won't even count in the standings so who cares?
I've watched the Jaguars a few times this year. Don't let the Jaguars of year past haunt your brain, they are not a terrible team. The record is bad but they have a potent offense, some players on defense and pretty good coaching. The Jets aren't good enough to expect them to dominate anyone is this league.
Jacksonville is getting closer thats for sure. So far every team besides NE that has beaten them has had an "ugly win." Carolina needed a pick 6 so pull away late. Indy trailed most of the game pulling it out in OT, Tampa needed 4th quarter fumble recovery to pull away late. The Jets got a 4th quarter fumble recovery to pull away late. oh - and they beat 2 of our division rivals - Buffalo & Miami. Whenever you are terrible for so long once you start getting good enough to compete you still need to learn how to win. We see this a lot. Close losses with late mistakes suggests this is the case with Jacksonville to me. They have a good stable of talent and they can compete with anyone they just don't know how to win yet. Oakland was like that last year.
I don't fucking care what 45 guys in Bills uniforms lost to the Jaguars, the Bills lost to the Jaguars. We played them yesterday without our center and right guard, which effectively took away 100% of our run game which is the bread and butter of our offense. They said we never win games when Ivory isn't carrying us. The injuries on the line contributed to Ivory breaking an NFL record by rushing 23 times for 26 yards (fewest yards on 23+ carries ever). But we beat the Jaguars. The defense played without one of its most key players, who Bowles uses in the critical Tyrann Mathieu role. The entire unit has looked completely different since he went down, and we've had to play a backup corner without any safety experience at strong safety. We gave up 400+ yards for the second consecutive game..... But we beat the Jaguars. The only 2 receivers on our offense who ever get the ball were both hurt. Marshall was visibly hobbling around after every play and hardly saw any targets because of how limited he was, a far cry from how he's targeted almost every play on a usual day. But we scored 28 points and.... Beat the Jaguars. Percy Harvin is out for the year. Sammy Watkins is hurt with something new every week. Tyrod Taylor makes a living by scrambling around. McCoy is injury prone and got hurt again Sunday. Kyle Williams is still out. Get used to playing without them and stop making excuses. It's the NFL, there's a 100% injury rate, every team deals with it. Some teams win despite it and make the playoffs, others complain about it and watch them.
Oh, and our QB has a mangled thumb that needs surgery and can "slide down to his wrist" if not held in place. But we beat the Jaguars.
Just hope we don't stink up the place on Nat TV. The coaching has to improve and more passing please The team is playing with band aids and again I think it will be on Fitz and receivers to get a win. Decker good for a couple of TDs every game Mevi$ earning it this year but he better be all over Sammy Watkins. Maudlin and Skrine are up and coming players Cro? OMG Cro is playing...Williams has to be ready What's this about Fitz getting surgery Friday?...? Bettere hurry back by the end of the month or were toast
when your own fan base tends to forget you are the best ever. P.S. what semi-decent team hasn't looked dominant against the dolphins???
