Definitely look into the schedule. I know the NJT has an odd Sunday schedule. The trains to Secaucus are, I believe, 10:54, 11:05 and 11:10, but then the next one doesn't leave until 11:54. Give yourself plenty of time.

On a related question this is my first time in NY to see the Jets. I'm driving from Queens via the Whitestone bridge. When should I hit the road? How is parking?
    Many thanks

Get there early if you wanna see Fitz play! He might not last long with his busted digit. Good luck and enjoy the Jets win!

Traffic is hit or miss and parking is a nightmare(I'm assuming you already have a parking pass). As someone who has gone to quite a few Jet games over the years (From LI) I can honestly say your best bet is taking a Jet bus. There's nothing worse then sitting in the massive line of traffic trying to leave the Jet game as bus after bus zooms past you in the dedicated bus lane.

Thanks. I don't have a parking pass. I bought my tickets on line so I'm kind of stuck

Off topic, but the fact that the Jets don't have their own stadium by Citi Field is a shame. Certainly would make the trip from LI easier.

I don't even think you can buy parking the day of the game. You can buy a parking pass online by itself at Stubhub or wherever online, but I'd highly suggest taking a Jet Bus. Parking will cost you $50 bucks anyway. You are far better off paying $60 for a bus ticket and saving yourself a lot of hassle.
