He's out there with a glove on. Oh and Geno is in pads and helmet as well. https://www.facebook.com/Jets/photo...15673336230/10153120861591231/?type=3&theater
Good signs....Bowles said he thought he would have an answer by end of practice today. I think Fitz will go... tape that shit up.
We should blitz Skrine more...he had a lot of success getting pressure against the Colts. With our lackluster pass rush last week, maybe #41 can give the blitz some added teeth.
Don't know how to post tweets but per cimini, fitz handing the ball off with his left hand and taking snaps from center. Mangold dressed but not snapping. Not sure what to make of mangold but looks like the qb depth chart will be status quo. Also prior not practicing but out of the boot

It will be interesting to see if Fitz runs at all on Sunday He better lean to his right while sliding
I was thinking they wouldn't do anything till this afternoon at earliest. Made no sense to sign someone until they knew what fitz/geno were able to do.
You mean, THE BRYCE AGE! I don't know about anyone else, but I just want EVERYbody healthy, especially Mangold.
Fitz is the most important player for us to get back on the field. (although i'm also hoping Mangold, Marshall, and Skrine can rebound quickly as well) if Bowles is worth his salt, he should be able to correct and rally that D. I'm hoping he can have that effect. the offense, and the team in general, needs Fitz back out there to do anything this season though.
fitz will start and the ongoing worry will be fumbles..of course if smith played we would have that worry too and his hands are fine.
I'm happier with an injured Fitzpatrick than any of our other options at the moment. I'm hoping he can gut the game out and not make it worse. This is a win with him on the field and a harum-scarum ride with anybody else.
