Aaron Rodgers just had his worst game ever this past week with 77 passing yards. Maybe we can buy low on him?

Oppo Oh, yeah? 2012: RB - Gore WR - Mario Manningham, Michael Crabtree TE - Vernon Davis 2013: RB - Gore WR - Boldin, Crabtree, TE - Vernon Davis 2014: RB - Gore WR - Boldin, Crabtree TE - Vernon Davis You are out of your fucking mind if you don't think our offensive talent is better than what they had in 2012 - 2014. The biggest difference is the QB - Kaepernick was better than any schmuck we strolled out there. Check your knowledge before you sound RIDICULOUS. RB - Ivory WR - Marshall, Decker, Kerley TE - Do we even use one?
The only way the Jets can take a run at RG III is if he renegotiates the contract as part of the trade. I'm not even sure he's allowed to do that under the CBA after the Redskins picked up the 5th year rookie contract option. I'll bet he'd renegotiate if he is allowed too. He's going to get cut in the off-season and lose the guarantee anyway.
Well at the moment our best QB moving forward is the 4th round pick who probably can't play at the NFL level. That leaves a lot of space to acquire people who might be better than that and RG III definitely inhabits that space, albeit not at his current contracted salary.
So, that is why he couldn't tackle anyone? And it was not a mistake, it was a numbers game since Pryor is out and the Jets are thin at safety. Ftr I had hopes about Marcus in the off season, but there's a reason he's not getting more action. If the CS sees something in him that leads them to play him more, fine. But there's no body of evidence out there that lends support to this notion that the secondary can be significantly improved if only those dumbass coaches could see that Marcus Williams is hte next Darrelle Revis. Enough already.
There are two potential QB trade articles out... one is for RG3 and the other for Kaepernick. Which one would you take if you had to take one?
Imo the most likely scenario here is indicated by the fact that both Fitzpatrick and Smith might be, but are not yet, cleared to play. But the CS won't have a better indication on that until tomorrow. Which is after the trade deadline. Add in that odds are decent one or the other will be able to play. So it says here it makes little sense to try and cut a deal with some other team that might also require doing something to alter a Qb's inflated contract by this afternoon. That would smack of desperation, and I don't think Mac is interested in being seen desperate. Since Fitz or Smith might be ready, the smart move is to pick up someone like Flynn who would not require a trade and knows something about this offense. Worst case you go into the weekend suiting up Petty but probably starting Flynn. Otherwise Flynn backs up either Fitz or Smith, maybe plays ahead of them as a middle ground scenario. So, I do not expect a trade today. If BOTH Fitz and Smith are good tomorrow, no moves at all. Otherwise my bet is on Flynn.
Neither. edit: If I really, really, really HAD TO take one, it would be RG3. But, I really don't believe in either player.
Honestly I'd be happy with either. I'd rather have Kaepernick. He stays healthy and had had a good td to int ratio last three years.
Why wouldn't he be allowed to sign a new contract? Seems rather dumb if that's a rule. None of the NFL's business.
