Well there is our 1 hit for every 3 innings.... that being said I really like the way Conforto swings the bat.

Biggest takeaway from this series: Don't golf when your season isn't over yet. Apparently it doesn't go without saying for the NY Mets

Don't worry about swinging at strike Flores, it is a 7 game series after all. Onto game 6!

Well the good news is they've already ended the broadcast here so i don't have to see Joe Buck suck Ned Yost's cock and allow Hosmer to fuck him in the ass

Collins "if you're going to let him face one guy, you shouldn't send him out there" Bullshit!

That's pure fucking stupidity and shows exactly why he should be fired. I still question why Conforto was in position to allow a ball to go over his head. That's on Collins, not Harvey.

And Terry didn't do the EXACT SAME THING in Game 2 of the NLCS? Harvey got two outs, gave up a bomb to Schwarber and he was out of there with a two-run lead. He'd done it a number of times this season already, it was the correct move but one batter too long was asinine especially after a tough walk and with the top of the order seeing him a fourth time. It's not as if Harvey gave up a first-pitch bloop, I would at least understand the second batter then.

Most baseball managers when the starter going into the 9th and they let one batter get on, the hook comes out.(unless they had a big lead) I'd wager a guess that happens more times than not. They where killing David for not staying where he belonged on 3rd and cutting the ball from Flores.

It doesn't change the fact that Duda shit himself on the throw home

Murphy and Cespedes have to go, but I'd keep cespedes before Murphy. He isn't the player we saw in the NL playoffs but unfortunately is the fielder we saw in the WS.

Unfortunately management loves Collins so we are stuck with him. Backman will never be our manager.

Is Granderson a free agent. I'd like to have him back for one more year.

Moving on from Duda wouldn't be a bad move.

Worst sports weekend ever. Mets lost the WS. Huskers lose to fucking Purdue, Isles shat all over themselves and the Jets season is done.

    Ugh

I know you hate soccer but at least Liverpool beat Chelski for me. UNLV was blown out by Boise, my Nets suck and the Jets season essentially ended today

Murphy had a remarkable NLCS but he's not a guy you can say let's try and build around him. I'd honestly like to see them go after Zobrist. He's a below average hitter but he's got pop and can move a bit. We also have Dilson Herrera ready to become a full-time player but I think I wanna see a polished guy at 2nd. Zobrist is 35 but no reason you can't sign him for 1 year until you know for sure Herrera is ready to go.

Granderson is around for one more season.

I don't think we'll see Cespedes back but maybe his lack of anything in the postseason will make teams shy away from him.

I think you try and move Duda but I don't know what they'll be able to get from him.

Chris Davis is a free agent but at 30 I doubt the Mets open up the check book. It is still the Wilsons.

Darren O'Day is also a free agent and I think he's a guy you absolutely target. One of the best 8th inning guys in the business and can close if need be.

It's devastating to know that if Duda makes a decent throw we play Game 6

As much as I believe in the journey and not the destination, this journey was just soured by how BAD we were defensively. Cespedes catches that pop fly first pitch to Escobar and Gordon's homer in the 9th doesn't even matter. Then the Mets blow games 4 and 5 on terrible defense once again. To shit themselves on the biggest stage makes me at least forget the epic Murphy streak and Cespedes's offensive onslaught from August 1 to September 15th. The guy was GOLFING with a bummed shoulder during the WORLD SERIES
