I hear you....but those are our only two. We could throw BP in, but thats rather unrealistic.
The bigger concern is wtf happend to that defense!?

and yes ivory. Wtf neither of those qbs r supposed to do it all.

Yeah Bryce needs to learn on the bench...don't wanna ruin him unless he's ready, which I doubt

Looks like it's going to be Geno for better or worse....Here's his chance

Just need him to cut down on some of the mistakes and he'll be OK

Defense has lost the plot and needs to go back to the drawing board

QBR rated him out at 66 this week, #10 out of 26 qualifying QBs. Whether or not that is entirely accurate, it wasn't the abomination performance the haters couldn't wait to tell us about. Does anyone believe that his haters, and there are many, will actually be rooting for the Jets while he starts? They would rather be "right" than see the team do well with him at QB. How about supporting the guy who is in? That's what being a fan is, not personal vendettas against certain players so you can feel smart for predicting the player's failure. We have a very strange fanbase. I feel many will not truly be rooting for the team while Geno is in at QB, based upon what I read on this board. And I can't wait for them to tell me how they are truer fans than me because rooting for him to fail is actually good for the franchise, or some other ridiculous logic...

how many geno fans are defending his bone headed choices like throwing into double coverage taking not one but 2 sacks? dude is a mental dud upstairs. His stupid choices costed a chance at a comeback two sacks and forgets about clock management. How the f can people defend him is beyond me

I root for the Jets to win it should be painfuly obvious to anyone who knows or watches football the qb of the future is not on this team and anyone who thinks geno is qb if the future must be sniffing glue

No one is defending those particular plays but some of us are looking at the whole picture....He wasn't that bad OVERALL, a few really bad decisions, yes

If Geno was absolutely perfect we may have come back for the win......but when your defense allows 34 points it's pretty rough to rely on any backup QB to win you the game with zero running game

how can you defend his mental lapses? thse were horrible and inexcusable. taking the two sacks forget about the clock winding down and he walking back to the huddle? never mind throwing into double coverage on the interception. Geno is Geno a knuckle headed physically talented person. He has not grown or changed he still is a bad qb and not the qb of the future

The one salvation here mght be having Mac find someone out htere to play QB here

Petty is not ready, we need a servicable backup

the Geno debate is so old already....he has to be the least intelligent player in college, pro and the arena league. Sure give him some first team reps. then on Sunday it will be like deja vu all over again

The only way geno starts is if Fitz's can't.

We are still in need of a quality starter. Geno...

Your right about being too harsh but geno will always lead the league in stupid decisions. I have seen enough of him but we may have no choice. If Geno starts we have to concede the season now.

There lays the problem. As hard as he tries he just doesn't have QB smarts. I for one don't think he'll ever get it. When he does excel it's because of his athletic ability not his smarts. The genobots are hoping it just clicks in (I wish it would as well). Two years is more than enough for him to learn some smarts but alas zip, zero.. I rather have ten Fitz's than a hundred Geno's..JMHO
