They did make a few stops. Or more accurately the Raiders failed to put the game away and couldnt maintain drives due to dropped passes. But look it was a low probability but the Jets could have gotten back into it, alot of other teams were down two scores and have come back late, right?

Rodgers and Brady can do stuff like that, our QBs cannot. The D can't put us in that situation. We need to play from ahead, that's how we are built. The other time we went down big this season the QB play was even worse. You have to play to your strengths. This team would not win 6 games with the D playing like today every week.
I don't think anyone's arguing that point with you. But the OP question was about Geno. And the anwer is that he looked the same as last year. Made some good throws but also a pick and some stoopid plays like taking long sacks etc. that others have detailed ad nauseum in this thread. Watching him today, I never felt like the Jets would mount a comeback. Not if the game went on for 40 quarters. Even though the Raiders were happy to provide some opportunities.
We just found it out as obviously as you can find anything out. You can wonder about what poop tastes like, have a gallon of shit forced down your throat with a plunger, and still not know about how shit tastes better than we know how Geno is not the answer. This is was basically Philadelphia but even worse on D.....Geno and Fitz are not much of a difference in overall net play. Fitz won't leave you scratching your head as much but Geno can also do some things physically that Fitz has no chance of. Fitz is obviously the steadier option but let's just see how this goes before everyone jumps It's about the rest of the team and coaching staff at this point.....we have no other choice

I'm not gunna say you're wrong but Geno should be atleast a little better with a full week of practice as the guy.....No excuse either because some of his decisions today can not be defended Gotta roll with it at this point
And to speak proper English... Yeah we will find out whether Geno can manage this offense. I'll be rooting for him, but no one can convince me he has a future on the Jets.
I've said this before. I'm not convinced he the answer also. I just want to see what he can do with the weapons he has.
