    You've got to give Geno a chance to be successful. They had plenty of time to go with shorter pass plays.

    I'm not here to defend Smith, but when a team marches up and down the field on the defense, how is it the QB's fault. Some people on this board are such idiots and know nothing about football. For years I've been on this board and the only position discussed and analyzed is the QB. Forget that Mangold is out, Pryor is out, and the defense is horrible. It's Smith's fault? And to excuse the awful defense on "they gave up when Fitz got hurt" is idiotic.
