Boomer and Carton are the best in the business at drive-time. They're easy to listen too, entertaining and occasionally I even learn something, which drive-time is worthless for otherwise. Benigno and Roberts are a close second. (Almost said Joe and Evan because of the Francesa parody song they sing).

Yea, that was just another one of those "coincidences" that takes the air out of their arguments...

Your synopsis makes plenty of sense, and I agree with it about the gambling end. Goodell himself gave an anti gambling monologue on mike and Mike this week. Total propaganda move. They need the gambling to survive to take the billion, TV and fantasy are co drivers .

New England wants their name on top of record books so the patriot way is thought to disrupt the band of 32 and there is inner turmoil how to keep it hushed and in the level.
    Profiteering is priority #1

So while the NFL is all over their ass for 3 quarters, NE is losing 20-16....and then 2 TD's in Q4.

Nothing to see here. Move along.

Part of all of this by Belichick might be just to help create paranoia. He thinks it's an advantage to have other teams think they're getting cheated and to waste resources and time on this type of stuff. Instead of on the game. Shula really freaked out Walt Michaels and the Jets that week of the Mud Bowl. Those sideline guys worked for Kraft Enterprises. Enough said. Even with a national spotlight and after embarrassing the league and then dragging them through the mud these guys never change their stripes. They won't win the Super Bowl this year.

I don't like Boomer and Carton, think they are too annoying. That said, they are entertaining so I see the appeal.

I kinda understand now why BB has always been so intolerant about players fumbling or dropping the ball. If you can't hold on to a deflated rock, you're a shitty player. Makes sense he was getting rid of them.

There has been quite a lot of conjecture that NE hired their own security firm to sweep for bugs. The reports said the NFL refused to do it. So I thought that maybe the Pats hired someone to do it. Apparently I was wrong

I also thought that people outgrew the term "retarded" around the 4th grade. Apparently I was wrong on that also.

Just knock Brady on his ass and they can do all the cheating they want.
That's how you beat the Pats.

I thought people learned around the 4th grade that words can have different meanings.

And yeah, your post was retarded. You floated a theory about what happened and then chided them for being paranoid as if your theory was fact.

The trouble is, you tell them this and they have an answer with their fumble rate. Last year they had 13 for the year and through seven games they have 5. They say, "You told us the air pressure would make our fumble numbers increase, and this year they're down." Total denial.

Why do you think they pretty much stopped running the ball? They are 29th in league rushing.

If I had to guess, I would say that they pass better than they run behind a make shift O-Line. Like I said, whatever excuse they can throw at you, they will.
