Boomer and Carton are the best in the business at drive-time. They're easy to listen too, entertaining and occasionally I even learn something, which drive-time is worthless for otherwise. Benigno and Roberts are a close second. (Almost said Joe and Evan because of the Francesa parody song they sing).

Part of all of this by Belichick might be just to help create paranoia. He thinks it's an advantage to have other teams think they're getting cheated and to waste resources and time on this type of stuff. Instead of on the game. There has been quite a lot of conjecture that NE hired their own security firm to sweep for bugs. The reports said the NFL refused to do it. So I thought that maybe the Pats hired someone to do it. The trouble is, you tell them this and they have an answer with their fumble rate. Last year they had 13 for the year and through seven games they have 5. They say, "You told us the air pressure would make our fumble numbers increase, and this year they're down." Total denial.
