A report that shows that excessive and precedent setting inquiries came up with nothing means the beginning of the end? Come on, have an ounce of credibility. I dare you.

They're under the microscope and you can't deal with it.

The whole country saw and heard what happened week 1 on national tv

The Patriot way is also the arrogant "eff you and your rules" way.....we win because we cheat, we cheat because we win

You have heard of a culture of cheating? NEfarious has a monopoly on it. Billions fraudulently made

    The new Enron

Hope by end of this year Kraft is made to sell and BB and crew banned.

    It might get to that

Week 1...which had the same result as this witch hunt. The Patriots were not guilty.

A witch hunt? Um you are a sad individual

The coach told the world what happened .....and it wasn't first time in his watch

Nfl told the Rooneys to quiet down and they'll handle it. The nfl announcement was propaganda to get people focused on football not cheating. nE tampered with Pitts headsets

I really think you fans are insufferable assholes.

The people who have outed them in the last are coming out in droves. They're building the case to really shit the operation down

When an org is this so staunch about face into the nfl and it's by laws, instead of admitting the sins, they continue the hubris......expect a scorched earth 3rd strike

After all that has happened, what the hell would make you think the NFL has any desire to get people to focus on football? This can't be serious. You have to be a Pats troll because you have completely lost it.

You made up all of this post in your head. You invented a conversation between the league and Rooney to prove something there is no proof of.

You also post a story about the league strong arming Pats employees, sweeping for bugs, and coming up with nothing, and try to claim it advances your fucked up position. o_O

Here is your proof that the patriots cheat:
    http://www.therichest.com/sports/football-sports/the-10-best-nfl-teams-this-millenium/?view=all

Statistical anomalies are used to predict patterns. The patriots are the only team circa 3/26/14 when this article was published that was 100 games OVER .500 since 2000. If this was baseball then you could make a better case for dynasty, but the NFL has a salary cap that gives all teams equal financial opportunities to field a viable team.

Of course the draft and injuries are variables that can affect teams, but the patriots are terrible in drafts with the exception of drafting brady.

So if you are not drafting pro bowlers every year and your spending capability is equal to everyone else, and you have already been found guilty of spying and deflating, what could be the source of this statistical outlier?

    Hmmm......

Was having an interesting conversation about the loss of picks and team fines with a Pats fan over lunch the other day. The way the NFL has handled both Spygate and Deflategate borders on the bizarre and defies any clear explanation. With Spygate, there is the obvious destruction of evidence. That's not so complicated. With Deflategate, you have the league hammering the franchise for a couple of picks and a million dollars, but the investigation and discipline going straight at Brady alone and doubling down on him despite the evidence being pretty wafer thin. If there is really nothing to see here, why dock the team the picks? What kind of billion dollar entertainment business works like this?

My answer is a business that rides on the back of legal and not-so legal gambling. If you're like me and you assume the worst about the Pats, you believe the league actually has and has had in the past suppressed evidence of widespread cheating, possibly affecting the Super Bowl in years past, then the team penalties are a not so subtle message to the team to clean up its act. The Brady investigation was just a public spectacle.

Now my buddy, who is inclined to believe the Patriots' are really the manifestation of core Yankee values like thrift, discipline, hard work and superior intellect, thinks its the league's ham-handed attempt to level the playing field on account of the Patriots unaccountable success for the last 15 years. Teams can't beat 'em fair and square so the league needs to kick them down a couple notches.

Note that neither view is anything more than an assumption. And both can be rationalized as the league's attempt to assure Vegas that the games are not fixed or are worth laying money on. And each provides a neat narrative for Pat's haters and Pat's fans to latch onto without any definitive resolution of any kind. Kind of a perfect scenario from the league's perspective.

Otherwise you kind of have to conclude that the NFL is a billion dollar business that is run by idiots.

The numbers most definitely do not lie. If Americans are good at something, its being stupid together. That explains the last three presidential terms. Anyway...

So you are surprised that the american public, who has been reading false reports for months and months about footballs that were 2psi under the limit (they were not) and text messages (that had nothing to do with said game and were discussing a Jets team that had overinflated footballs at home) and have no idea about the facts, think that the Pats cheated? No way!

Buried underneath all that garbage is that fact that at the current moment NFL can't even prove there was any deflation whatsoever. Thats why uncle Rog never, ever, ever mentions PSI in footballs anymore. he talks about "integrity" and "not cooperating" as for the reasons for punishment. Even though the QB in question was told by the 5 million dollar investigator that there would be no penalty for not giving a personal cell phone to the league.

If you actually think there was a massive scheme to deflate footballs which gives no advantage whatsoever, when the QB in question has 1 interception this season (actually he has zero, Edelman just threw a ball from his hands to a Colts player) and I don't even know how many touchdowns, then you are either stupid or extremely salty about one organization winning every year.

The footballs were clearly deflated and they were deflated after the refs measured the balls and the video of the ball boy going into the bathroom and the text messages is just gravy.

    Go away.

This jerkoff is the most insufferable.

He's got 100 posts all of them denying the footballs were deflated (they clearly were) and that the ball boy going into the bathroom with the balls and the text messages mean nothing and blaming the media for falsely reporting facts he's hoping beyond hope aren't true. But they are.

The dickless jerkoff has his head up his ass and is intentionally being obtuse.

Hasn't been here in a month, I'd imagine he takes a teams fan board everyday to spread his nonsense and it's our turn again.

Just for fun let's look at the number of dropped passes by NE receivers:
    All of 2014 season: 22 -- ranked #27
    7 games into 2015 season: 14 -- ranked #8
