We need to slap the 3D AI goggles on Bryce to see how quick thinking he is in real game situations. Without a quick mind he can have the best arm in the history of the NFL and never win a single game.
I'm done w/ QBs that have rotator cuff issues ... but I don't think he's nearly the same player he once was - maybe 2 or 3 seasons ago. Diminished arm strength, and still has issues playing outside the dome.
he led the league in yds (again) last season with almost 5000. 33 TDs as well. i wouldn't call that diminished arm strength. he took a rotator cuff sprain this season. granted that is affecting him, but yet he's still a top 5 QB despite that. next season the sprain will be gone, and he'll likely resume being at the very top of the league.

Fitz for sure. He may be a make weight but the core of this team older and we need every draft pick we can get. No GM worth his salt is going to take a QB I'm the first round. And honestly, who the f-ck can blame them.
Ryan Fitzpatrick with a 3 year contract extension. Then Petty with all those reps as the backup comes in and continues here for 8 more years.
Petty should have a fair chance at competing next year, but if the CS thinks he's still 1 year away then I am 100% fine with it. We can still be good with Fitz and probably draft another QB just to keep looking for our diamond in the rough. Whether Geno is or isn't part of the picture doesn't really concern me.
I think it has a legit shot to be Brees. He will not be back in New Orleans and even though he isnt the QB he used to be , our window of Superbowl contention is only about 2 more years. I might not watch a game if we somehow acquired Kaepernick. He is terrible.
