Keeps swinging at balls way outside and above his freaking head. Sent from my LG-LS720 using Tapatalk
Conforto is not the only one that can be put in the 2nd spot, and I never said he should be put there, maybe Flores or darnaud can be used in that spot. OB% means nothing to me when it comes to Wright, it's hitting with runners on base. I have seen him for 10 years now and he went from a player who was lethal because he would use the whole field and protect the outside part of the plate, to a player who opens up his left shoulder, uppercuts his swing and pulls everything. NLDS he struck out 4 times, NLDS 7 times, he had 4 hits in the NLDS but only 1RBI, he hits when there is no one on base, many players can do that, it's the ones who drive the runs in that separate themselves from the rest, and it's TC job to make adjustments so the team wins. I don't think they should sit him but definitely moved down, to say that you live with what you have during the World Series, is tantamount to accepting your fate like you don't have any options. Thats unacceptable to me, you do what you have to as a manager to help the team win. We have waited too long and the pitching staff is working too hard to let this WS slip away because TC won't move DW down in the lineup. I'll be thinking about you tonight when he strikes out with men on 2 and 3, and a chance to put the nail in the coffin in this game.
I don't even like Wright. But to say that TC is putting him before the team and is a bad Manager is not something I can agree with. Let's just turn the lineup upside down. How about that? Blaming TC for the shortcomings of the team and saying he's laying down is preposterous. I don't like Wright, I never really did. But you're asking people to do stuff they're not capable of doing. Let's bench Duda and d'Arnaud and play Plawecki and Niewenhuis too. While we're at it. They're doing less than Wright is. If you're sick of Wright being on a pedestal you're way behind me. I was callin' that in 2006
You and I are in agreement that Wright is overhyped, I never said Wright should be taken out, I said he should be dropped. At least Duda had a 5 rbi game to clinch the NLCS. Darnaud has not had the opportunities to hit with men on base like Wright has, I'm not advocating that nuhaws is put in the lineup. I know you are smarter than that and you know I did not mean that the roster should be turned over. All I'm asking from the manager is that he not be afraid to put another player in the 2 spot and ask them to do what they are all capable of doing and that's playing a game. We can have a difference of opinion on TC, I believe that if a manager not just Collins does not have it in him to make those type of decisions like dropping Wright in the lineup than he is not a good manager. If we had buck showalter, pineiella, larussa, he would have been dropped already. But I do see your position on this and I respect it bro. Go Mets
I can't stand Pete Rose as an analyst. A Rod on the other hand is growing on me. He knows his shit even though he is a cheater
"and calling the game as always, here's Joe Buck..." guess that Kevin guy from the pregame didn't watch Game 1.
what I really wonder is how they chose Pete Rose and A-Roid a guy shunned by MLB for gambling and a known cheater who has used PEDs throughout his career
That first time around was brutal. Hopefully the second time around we can get used to tthese different motions of Cueto. We need to work the count a little more too I think
All Buck is talking about the past two nights is Murphy and his homeruns. He makes it seem like hes Barry Bonds for fuck sake. Enough already.
This looks like a getaway day game in July, which makes sense cause the Met offense is in late July mode.
Contreversy sells...and from all accounts they happen to be good analysts too so it's a win-win in both cases.
