    Yea, that's it for Owusu. I really had hopes for the kid but he can't stay healthy and it's safe to say he is concussion prone. Best for him and his to move on from football.

    I didn't know this was his FIFTH concussion. How on earth did he ever get cleared to play again this season? The Jets should do the right thing by cutting him a nice check and then releasing him. They really shouldn't allow him on the field again in a Jets or any uniform at all.

    Wish him the best and hope he makes the best decision for his overall wellbeing.

    At the same time, I'll be happy to see Kerley (presumably) playing more.

    With Owusu out, Enunwa suspended and Smith gimpy, the WR/TE depth looks pretty iffy. Marshall, Decker and Kerley is a good threesome but they will likely call up Kenbrell Thomkins this week and likely be looking for an additional receiver soon.

    Kenbrell Thomkins was called up last week from practice squad. It's been said somewhere he would be active this week.

    He should retire after getting so many concussions. If Welker couldn't get a job with his history, I don't think Owusu will get another chance.

    I was a big fan of his last year and in training camp. I honestly thought he would be our 3rd receiver until Devin Smith got up to speed. He is prone to concussions and I think he should consider retirement for the sake of his future. Total standup guy and I wish him the best.

    My only question would be, did the Jets take care of him on the way out the door? Woody has been a class owner up until now so I hope they cut him a really nice check. Something to get his new life started with.
