He will be brought to serve his suspension for cheating, make no bones about it. Berman will come to see his elbow rubbing with Kraft will cost him his stellar reputation http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/1...d-circuit-outlining-appeal-tom-brady-decision
NFL beefing up legal team to restore order. Sounds like the other owners are tired of the fake billionaire Here is the filed brief http://thesportsesquires.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/Opening-Brief_NFL.pdf
I'm almost rooting for Brady to prevail because Burning Mudring is such a dick. Isn't that some shit? Why is this asshole still got privileges on my Jets' site? Can't we at least create a Tebowmania-style ghetto for him and the three dickless pats fans he's trolling?
I stand by my speculation that Berman got paid off to render his decision so Brady could play the opener and enjoy the banner ceremony. The Brief points out the main issues Berman decided to ignore and tender his own brand of "gold justice"
Because that's why you care about this. You should stick to anti-Patriot angle which will get a lot more pull on a Jets message board.
We get it. The Patriots cheat. Move on. The NFL doesn't actually give a shit. Patriots fans will never give a shit if it results in rings.
Fuck off! We're just as sick of this shit as you are, none of us are posting this shit. Lets be honest though, it is the NFL pushing this, not us or Burning. I'd guess many other team owners must be pushing it as well.
at this point it really is about himself and his personal crusade against the 3 dickless patriots fans.
At this point I believe this is windowdressing by Goodell. There is no way NFL legal is too incompetent to lose case like this, ergo, this was done on purpose. Roger got his $$ payout, now it's new round of proceeding, but not to nail anyone, but to get another judge to say Br*dy is completely innocent.
i'm surprised at some of you guys.. criticizing Goddell for pursuing this and Burning for posting the progress updates? Br*dy fucking cheated. the P*ts cheated. they obstructed, denied and covered up. no one outside of NE disputes that. they have compromised the game and the integrity of the league imo. why should Goddell simply drop it? Br*dy was going to appeal until he got a decision he liked... well Goddell should now do the same. this isn't something you simply let slide......not with repeat offenders like these who will never change. i don't think anyone should 'move on' from this, especially not Goddell or the other team owners.
Thanks B2Q. It's the owners 31 of them versus the shafty kraft. It's Labor dispute and a lock down of comissioner's control around game integrity issues. Brady decided to take it further because he feels he is the NFL, the NFLPA trotted him out as their trojan horse to poison the well. It looks bad on Brady all around but he could have negotiated and taken his suspension. The Players Contract and CBA states he is on notice to be suspended and disciplined by the commissioner for such actions by signing his contract. Their attempt to get the CBA thrown out is silly. They should remove their head mouthpiece Smith. No one player is ever bigger than the 32 owners, never was, never will be. They players will always be subserviant to the 32, or there will be no league. Call me what you want, but most Pats fans wont even admit to knowing how the NFL really works. It's blind homerism and StarF*ckery at it's finest.
Concur. Brady cheated and avoided punishment. The NFL must get a verdict from Appeals Court. Was the process fair? Is unpunished rule breaking the new standard? Was Berman unbiased in his decision? The people deserve to have confidence in the integrity of the Sport. Brady and the people deserve to have an answer, and fair process. Also, Br*dy deserves to have the distractions
I think the biggest problem is they are punishing him "for everything." They swept things under the rug in past and this was meant as a carpet punishment to cover it all. Like the spoiled brat the league let him become T*m refused to accept consequence for his actions. Yes, this punishment was too harsh for what is on the books as the offence but the bigger problem is the league can't say well it's not just for a but also b,c, and d. Admitting publicly they covered for the Patriots would be the death warrant for most of the head office as well as the three headed beast in Bawston.
