Brady is still the best even at 38 years old. Until he loses it, we are going to struggle against this team unless we have a top 5 qb as well. It's frustrating.
You people are ridiculous. That was the best game we played in years. Yes we had a chance, but shit didn't work out. We gave the best team, QB and coach in the game all they wanted today and still could gave more until time expired. Fitz didn't lose the game, Marshall didn't lose, 3rd and 17 didn't lose. We were outplayed down the stretch by the best team in the game. Little mistakes add up, we made more than they did.
Ytur but Fitz throwing to the wrong guy on third down in quarter 4 when Decker was wide open on that side underneath has nothing to do with the head coach. Timeouts not being called was crazy. You can do more with control of time than you can without. Even if you are not stopping the other guy, as TB said. Misguided there.
All said and done, teams know that we are for real. The Jets are going to be a tough out this year, and likely to make the playoffs. As it gets colder, with this D I take my chances against _anyone_ (including the Patsies in the return match). And yeah, it's looking like we basically aren't going to beat them until TB12 is sitting on a couch Sundays. Dude was getting hammered time after time behind that joke of an OL and he just kept making plays. The way his receivers were dropping balls left and right made me think that Braylon Edwards had signed with the Pats. But - as usual - he made the plays that were needed. Sigh....
Not only am I sick of losing to the Pats, I'm even more sick of our D giving up 4th quarter TDs right after we take the lead. Today's 4th quarter could have been the last 3 years and I wouldn't have known the difference.

No game is ever win or lost solely on time management. However, not calling a timeout while on defense was dumb - no doubt about it. There is no reason to save your timeouts for offense when the other team will use the entire play clock. Also, we really didn't put enough pressure on Tom Brady and the defense couldn't get off the field when the game mattered most. Whether you want to blame coaching for those circumstances is up to you.
I love Bowles but there is no doubt we were out coached. We needed to hit br*dy and had the means to do so. Special teams weren't even close and the offensive play calls and clock mgmt were head scratching. Chalk this up to a vet coach beating a rook

Yep, the Defense gave up 2 long drive TD's. Couldnt get off the field. That was the reason the Jets lost.
lol who's not going to be out coached going against Bellicheck as much as he's hated you have to give him props for his success. We played soft on both sides of the ball and showed no urgency.
Bowles is useless..2 1/2 minutes left in first half and he basically sits on the ball, clock running under two minutes in the game and we have three TOs left and he lets it run. We get an onsides kick and they let Fitz throw short and over the middle.
