I don't understand Fitz is game by game on what reasoning? did he loose the eagles game single handedly? We are 4 and 1 even if we go to 4 and 2 guess what this is not game by game unless he is injured. On what basis do you think Fitz is on a game by game
I am a glutton for punishment. I really don't understand people who are thinking like that thought process. We are winning why even make that comment, what is the basis for that? Honestly what makes these Geno supporters cling to this one hope in the face of the record? I just hope next yr we have found our QB of the future and planning for him. It is pretty obvious it is not Geno or Fitz maybe Petty.
He's thinking that way on the hope and a prayer that his guy Geno can get back behind QB without a Fitzpatrick injury. I think that's fairly unlikely at this point. It would take a terrible game by Fitzpatrick to even bring the question to the table and I'm guessing that Todd Bowles has one terrible Fitzpatrick start in his system before he starts thinking about switching horses in mid-stream. You will never see a Joe Gibb's/Bill Parcells disciple being frisky at the QB position. Both of those guys actually won Super Bowls with a backup playing QB in the game due to injury.
The public opinion on this board will change on a game by game basis. After the eagles game, he got torched. Right now, hes a hero....hes 98 testeverde. IF he shits the bed vs. The Pats he will get dogged again and the consensus here will be that we should change. Doesnt mean he will or should get benched, but thats what i meant by " game by game" None of the previous answers given to this came close btw lol

Yeah, if he wanted to know, asking helps lol Just to clear things up further, I dont give a shit whos playing qb if we're winnng. If we beat NE with fitzpatrick.....wonderful. If we can compete with a kid from harvard...great. I had NO problem with fitz against Washington. I thought he played fine. Hopefully it continues. I would like to involve devin smith in the O, but whatta you gonna do. Hopefully we dont get too far behind.
No the "consensus on the board" is that it's Fitz unless he gets injured or plays poorly in multiple games in a row. The only consensus about game to game is you guys. _
I wish threads like this would just fizzle out. If no one argues with the Geno turds then they might just go away. It's like they argue and fight for him because A) they are never content/nothing is ever good enough for them as fans and B) they defended him in the past so they're wary of looking stupid if he's not the second coming (like Stokes with Bridgewater ). yea - this guy has been actively rooting down Fitz in every game thread this year, pouncing on every imperfection as an opportunity to push his Geno Smith agenda. Now all of the sudden he doesn't care who the qb is. I wish I had another pair of eyes so I could roll them all. Dude should seriously just stfu and gtfoh at this point. I'm still not convinced he's not a Bills fan with an axe to grind pretending to be a Jets fan.
The dude shows up in September, has 300 posts 250 of which are whining about Geno's potential and how much Fitz sucks. Yeah he's not a Jet fan. He's a Geno fan. _
