I should have known it wasn't the full show. I just don't watch 60 minutes so... Anyway thanks for informing me!
Wait wait. I just clicked on it on my computer for the 1st time. The previous times it was on my phone. Now I see how it plays the clip automatically.. feel stupid.
He needs to spend some of that $100 million on clothes, dude looked like he raided his sisters closet with that outfit. WTF was he wearing
First, I thought the piece was horrible. 13 minutes of Revis trying to justify screwing over his fan base time and time again (and his teammates for that matter). The love and adoration of his fans means nothing to him. The careers of his fellow teammates means nothing to him. The careers of his coaches means nothing to him. A holdout that's meant to benefit Revis while hurting the owners wallet hurts A LOT of other ppl in the process. You can love his play, but how can you love the man? Fuck him.
I think Abyz is spot on. Not sure if Revis is doing this to up his stats and therefore up his next payday (but this seems very Revis like), of if Revis his just found a 'funner' way to play football. Revis said back in 2010 his biggest problem on the field was shear boredom. He had become like a good offensive lineman. The less you heard his name, the better he was doing. Maybe Revis learned something from Cro. It's a lot more fun having the ball come your way. So yeah, maybe he's changed his style from dry humping his WR into oblivion to playing off just a bit and getting 10-12 shots a game at the INT. Either way, good observation by Abyz. It's good observations like this that allow us to forgive his brain fart on Ridley heehee
Meh -I'm okay with that if true. Turnovers pay better but they also win football games. so win/win I guess. But I think you are reading into the Garcon play too much. Revis just plain got beat on the play. 2009-2011 Revis got beat every once in awhile too
Bwahahahaha I hope he had just gotten back from the Himalayas after spending time with Tibetan Monks, or was off communing with Buddhists.... or something. Because if Darrelle thinks that was stylish it will actually be the first time I was ever disappointed in him in any way, lol. Wtf?!
Revis could also be adjusting to more contact being called downfield. It's hard to give a holding penalty to a guy who is playing off his man, and it's less likely you'll see a PI also if the DB is breaking on the ball instead of glued to his man. He's a very smart player. I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt on which is the better stance to be in right now.
The thing I have always liked about Revis is how cerebral he is. I love listening to Westoff talk about him. Westoff is not easily impressed and he gushes over the way Revis practices. Revis is all about preparation
Eh, it's a business. Very few players are willing to take a big pay cut to stay with "their team". Revis is the man.
