Syndergaard + d'Arnaud for Dickey could go down as one of greatest trades in franchise history.

Right now everybody loves the guy and he's managing the locker room perfectly. He's just the right manager for this team

Sort of like Jim Leland with the Marlins in 1997

+1...Except I really wasn't concerned that Maddon was better than him. But the respect for Maddon is huge. They both get the best out of their players, and there's no dissension

We've taken it to them. The way Maddon was going to try to take it to us. Reversed it on him

People judge TC in the pressers...I think. But the guy in the clubhouse can do no wrong. That's his strength. The way he has stuck with guys is astounding to me and it's paid off in a huge way. He seems to juggle the line up perfectly every time. Every time there was a distraction he eliminated it, all season. He never let's negativity intrude on his team

The best move he's made so far imo was the Syndergaard relief appearance and the Familia 6 out save vs LA. He brought in Noah to face the heart of LA's order after they got they lead and he put the power to 'em.
It was a show of force that carried into this series. TC gave Warthen the credit but he made call. They knew Noah, and Familia, could do it

It can all change on a dime, but I'd love to see him get this

Hopefully Matz feels a little neglected and is prepared to show off today. It would be really beneficial to finish this off today.

Wright still taking too many strikes. Puts himself behind in the count in too many at bats.
