I can't wait for this game. I genuinely believe that this Jets team can beat the Cheatriots. We have the defense that can match up with them, it's just a matter of the offense not turning the ball over and controlling the clock.

I actually like this spot for the team and as a fan.....The first game of the series being away @ New England makes it so that we can play pretty loosely and have a confident don't have much to lose attitude. Pats riding high but will have the pressure on them in this one for sure

We have the perfect type of team right now to give them trouble on both sides of the ball and New England got pretty banged up tonight

Hit Brady early and often.....Not going to call the upset but defintiley not scared at all

Patriots are the Jets first real test this year. It's still too early for team records to be indicative of how good or bad they are this season, but up to this point they haven't played any team that's better than .500 and only one team that's .500 at this season (the Colts). I think the Pats are a better team than the Jets overall, but I think the Jets have the defense that can keep the team in the game. It's the first gauge of how good this team is (mind you if they lose it doesn't mean they suck and are pretenders...well unless they get totally blown out in every aspect of the game). Time to play a big boy club and give them a punch in the nose.

If we can minimize mistakes there is no reason why we can't beat the Patsies.

Against better teams like New England, the Jets are not good enough to overcome self inflicted mistakes.

If the Jets can find a way to play sound football in all phases, I like their chances.

That said, I haven't seen a sound game played yet and don't anticipate one on the road at NE.

I'll take our chances against this team. Revis Christ has to be on Edleman all game, and our Defensive line is the key. I also expect Cro to cover Gronk for much of the game. We can do this.

i want to beat them just to wipe that cocky smirk off edelemans face.

what did this dude ever due to warrant that? any shifty 5'10" wr can do his job. see brown, welker before him. he owes his paycheck to brady and their short passing attack which suppliments their run game.

due is such a try hard

Here's a wakeup call to the OP..if we play defense against them like we did against Washington it will be a long painful day for Jets fans. Absolutely no pressure on Cousins for almost the entire day, give brady that much time and he will throw 10 tds on us.

He always mouths off to the defense whenever he catches anything. For a buttoned up team like the Patriots, it sure seems like they let him run his mouth.

If Revis covered him all game his stat line would be 1 catch for 5 yards

The myth is that the Pats are a classy buttoned-up team. They've been shit talking assholes ever since Belichick took over.

Odds just came out, some books have it at -9 others at -10. Haven't bet on an NFL game since the 2010 AFCD game against N.E. Really might have to put in a call to my bookie for this one.

Seriously....Edelman is a little douchebag punk

Always crying to the refs and always talking shit to opponents in an annoying way

He fits in well with Brady and Belichik...Classless jerkoffs

Gronk is a cool dude though, wish he would leave NE

idk why but i'm not as hyped up for this game as i used to be.. Think it has a lot to do with Todd Bowles too. Rex had this game marked on his calender every year... hell the first thing he spoke on when he took the job with us was the patriots. But Bowles has already said he can care less for the rivalry... he wants to beat EVERY TEAM we play not just ESPECIALLY NE like Rex...

But anyway i see this game going down to the last drive... Ivory will shred the Patriots up... they havent looked to good vs the run in the few pats games ive watched. I hope Buster Skrine plays because i like kind of trust him on Edelman or Amendola (basically whoever Revis is not on) .. i also like Decker to have a big game ...

Im pushing for Jets 27- 24 but i have a gut feeling it will be Pats by 10.

Rex always had the team hyped up like high tension wires for the Pats, which worked a few times but they had the inevitable swoon afterwards.
