The NY Jets: 1st total defense, 1st total yards allowed, 1st ppg allowed, 2nd passing yds per game allowed, 2nd yards per game allowed, 2nd against the rush, tied for 2nd giveaway/takeaway. The Bills: 18th total defense, 16th yards per game allowed, 13th ppg allowed, 7th giveway/takeaway, 4th against the rush, 24th passing yards/game. The Bills defense last year was beast like, Rex has effectively neutered it, it's an embarrassment at this point. Factor in that we've taken two sacks, our penalties, and this is a very well coached team, and Buffalo? Well Buffalo has Rex for five years. For some reason this D-Line of Rex's isn't getting to the QB? It's because Rex gets too friggin cute, he drops some of his beasts into coverage trying to be smart instead of just letting them get after it. I'm just really glad Rex is someone else's problem at this point.
To be fair, Buffalo only has had one bad game defensively and that was against the Patriots. Not counting that game, their defense has done pretty well.
Yeah, I'm not sure I'd pencil in wins for the Jets against the Pats and the Bengals either. Not that I miss that fat slob mind you.
Even Mario Williams is complaining, they gave up 4 TD's with no takeways and Dalton was machine like, the Bills D has been a huge letdown so far.
Buffalo has played against a couple teams with much better offenses than we've faced. The two common opponents were played pretty similarly (Indy & Miami). But yeah not mad with our performance so far.
How does one move on when he's coaching in the same division lol? If he was just another bloviating talking head for Fox I wouldn't give a shit.
/ OK so that means they're not a division rival in the same state? That he went to coach for? Not like he signed IK who broke Geno's jaw just to be a dick. No reason to even talk about Rex at all, got it. We never talk about division rivals, coaches of division rivals, especially ex-coaches who immediately coach for said division rival in the same state.
I refuse to be insulted by anyone who resides in the state of New Jersey, I say Fuck you sir and good night.
after that monday night bills game, hells no. I was about done with Rex once we couldn't even compete with a team on a days practice after 15 days to prepare.
Nope, wanted him gone last year. He's a good coach, but I grew tired of the same product year after year. Right now, I prefer Bowles style and I'm happy with the results. That said, I admit that right now the Jets have more talent than the Bills. We do have a better roster so it's hard to compare Rex and Bowles this season on just W-L alone.
Personally I dont believe in the idea that every single ex coach sux and must be pissed on every chance we get. I couldn't be happier with Bowles/Mac and this NASTY defense......but being a jet fan since Joe Walton, Im not trying to dismiss four playoffs wins, on the road, including foxboro, in two years. I had seen exactly that many in my life before that. So, im sorry, i just cant do it. But i hope we stomp him twice a year. .......also the #6 tattoo was a little weird but.....lol Sent from my SM-G386T1 using Tapatalk
Only thing I miss about Rex are the press conferences after the wins we got half the time he was here.
1st in Rush Offense. 1st in total defense. 2nd in pass defense. 3rd in rush defense. *relaxing sigh* Enjoy it while it lasts fellas.
