This brings up another good question: Why do girls sign up for dating sites? They really don't need them. Just walk out of your house, ask "Any guy want to go out with me?" and a crowd of men will run up to you with their hand raised.
I've only ever known one woman that I wouldn't have boned at least once. Women actually think their guy friends "just wanna be friends ", or their married guy friends wouldn't bang them given the chance.

We went to a confirmation this weekend and the dad asked us to go to the liquor store and buy some beer and ice. Up at the counter there was a display of Stella glasses--buy a 20-pack of Stella and get a free glass and my GF made a comment how nice the glasses were (we already have 4 at home). I schlep the ice and beer out to the car and she comes out smiling with a glass in her hand and she says "the nice man behind the counter gave me one" and I said "yeah, you know why? You'd be surprised. Society is feminized, a lot of men act like pussies or overcompensating douchebags these days. Especially a hot girl, might not get approached by a good guy but rarely. Pussy is on a pedestal in this country so for a lot of women I'm sure it's an attention thing to go online and get validation from all the thirsty dicks messaging her but for most women I think it's just an easy way to meet more people. And it's very easy, women can have a date every night with online dating if they want.
I maybe should shed some light to this online dating thing. 2 years ago me and my cousin who lives in Turkey wanted to start up "e-harmony" type of a dating site in Turkey. To do some research, I enrolled to e-harmony and match.com. I put up my own picture but used a fake name. Jake was my name. I kid you not, I received so many messages from all sorts of girls you can't even believe. Of course my wife knew what was going on so we were reading girls messages together. Long story short, I had to stop it because a detective from Livingston, NJ and I became pretty close. So guess what, she did some research and said there is no Jack Dick Swinger living in Madison, NJ. I closed my account of course. We continued our research and found out more than 65% of online dating sites are populated by woman. Even some sites like "It's Just Lunch" hire guys to show up on dates. Women are desperate to find a dependable man who will provide them with sperm. Women want family, men want pussy. Women use pussy as a bait to lure good men. Good men don't fall. Good men get good pussy elswhere but marry only the one and only good woman. And the women know this. So they are much more deperate then men.
This is 100% true. After my wife passed I got set up on more dates than I could reasonably swing my dick at. And I didn't even need to go onto an online dating services. And 90% of those women were looking for a husband and security and someone to father their children. _
Especially that 31 year old female who btw is a single mother that decided she could change a bad boy to a good one only to fail hilariously. You see a lot of them on dating websites. Biological clock is ticking, and no good man is falling for a woman w/ super-used goods. More than likely the female passed on a good guy at an earlier age for that bad boy with muscles, small brain and a bunch of tattoos. It gets funnier as they get older.
Yeah but you fall into a category of a man whose wife passed and is a single Dad at that point. The women you seem to have been set up with were either divorced, single parents. Hopefully you got to experience some single women too...I always think women in their 40's and single/never married must mean there was something that is not right in the picture. In our country there is large abundance of divorced/single parents now...Isn't the stat of most marriages ending in divorce at 50%? (knock on wood mine stays good... getting married next weekend lol) Anyways, I feel men and women at this phase are most of the time straight forward and get down to the point that their dates hopefully lead to stability and security like you said. I got to experience them all, single, divorced, widowed--late 20's through mid 40's--some were crazy and some were great. The divorced ones were the craziest. Lots of angry bitterness there. My GF had always been single, had medical issues that prevented her from ever having kids so even though she had some long term relationships, the lack of kid thing, I think, probably prevented her from getting married. Which is surprising and their loss because she's such a sweetheart, a truly great person and really really cute. I hit the GF lotto. _
You're close friend, but not there yet. Many of the women on those sites, have found that a dependable hard working man... now they are looking for someone to spend time with while he's at work.
