Sunday night game....good? or beat down? Anyone think the Colts will find a heartbeat; or just a giant egg in the face?
And they beat a not good Titans team by 1 point needing a couple long miracle QB scrambles. I see the conference as New England, Denver, Cincy as locks for the top 3 seeds, the Colts as the default 4 seed and then the Steelers, Jets, Bills and Chargers fighting for the 2 Wild Cards.
That's my fear. Sunday night national audience against a team that is not nearly as good as the preseason hype. _
You realize we are missing all of our good players on offense right? Titans coming off a bye. What do you expect? Half of Tyrod Taylor throwing to Chris hogan and handing off to a RB we signed off the street that week, and two starting linemen out. You expect a blowout with that lineup?
I just said that the Bills were one of 4 teams competing for the wild card. Did you expect me to say they were going to overthrow the Patriots? They might have as many losses now as the Pats will have all year.
I agree with those teams, I think the Raiders are a year away from contending. I think we have a top 2 defense in the conference for sure [between us and Denver]. I might sound crazy, but I think the Jets are a better overall team than the Broncos this year [4 games in of course]. Cincy looks amazing right now, along with New England. I wonder if the Bills regret that Sammy Watkins trade. Dude can't stay healthy to save his life.
Ain't looking good for Watkins and Shady right now - both are too dinged up to really become difference makers on the offensive side of the ball.
There are amazing similarities between the Jets and Broncos. This sentence would be punishable by death 2 years ago, but Peyton Manning and Ryan Fitzpatrick are essentially the same QB right now. No arm, tons of picks, relying on a great defense. Their numbers are very similar, too.
Oh yeah, if I said this even last year; off with my head for sure. I like the weapons the Jets have in comparison to the Broncos too. I really like DT, but man Decker AND Marshall are better than DT and ES in my personal opinion. Our running game easily surpasses the Broncos. Broncos definitely have better edge rushers, while we have better interior defensive lineman. I wouldn't mind a match-up with the Broncos at all if we make the playoffs.
Right. To me just rest everyone this week against cincy. You're not winning anyways. Rest Shady, Watkins, Percy, Tyrod, Karlos, and use it as a second bye week.
I like where were sitting in that scenario. we got the easiest schedule of the group... the Steelers aren't going to maintain without Big Ben long and Buffalo... well we know they will have issues. they are due for the Rex mid-november swoon. Chargers though will be good competition down the stretch. IF we can get that 4 spot we can go to Indy again in the wildcard. I like that idea
I'll play along with this IF scenario... Get the 5 seed and play he winner of the AFC south division. No problem. Then play either 1) New England who we match up well with and are familiar with. As we all know, division games are no joke. 2) Cincinnati and Andy Dalton, who yet again, we match up well with and have never won a playoff game. All the pressure in The world on Cincinnati in that one. 3) Denver who yet again, has a Qb who can't win in the playoffs. Only thing about them is their D is for real and much better than the other two teams. I'll take my chances with any of them though. The big plus would be to play the afc south winner in the wildcard round. But nonetheless this is all here say and a big IF. I am focused on Washington this week. So let's go get another win and play well.
I think this is the year Cincy gets over the hump and does damage in the playoffs. But then again I've thought that in other years and you are right the pressure on them in the 1st one will be huge until they win one.
