Whether he's a "douche" or not...after seeing both teams so far this year...I'd take Michigan over Ohio State tomorrow....

I'm sorry....Which one of those teams is a defending National Champion, and still undefeated...

and which team already lost this season?

Get back to me, after Michigan flips MSU.

    (they should...but...)

    Michigan....loses at least 3 this year...maybe 4.

Michigan just had its third straight shutout.....yesterday against previously undefeated #13 NW....they also blanked a team OSU gave up 28 pts to yesterday ....I didn't even mention the struggle OSU had versus Indiana....or little Northern Illinois.....#overrated

Like he was flippping them off with both hands wishing that he had a third, and being so unapologetic in the process - that's what made it great.

As for the northern state, takes two to forge a rivalry so they do serve a purpose (even if they do have to recruit south-of-the-boarder ) ; )

But fwiw, I'll give Harbaugh credit for at least putting that team back on the map and so quickly to boot. And in doing so, he'll hopefully restore a level of competitiveness that a rivalry of such historic stature deserves. Ohio State's won 11 of the last 12 which may good for derisive tee-shirt sales out of the bookstore but which is bad overall for the OSU vs. Mich. brand, plus with Harbaugh's arrival at Ann Arbor, both Ohio State AND Michigan now have an established 'face of the program' in place versus Rich Rodriguez and his razzle-dazzle, non-Michigan-like spread offense and in-over-his-head Brady Hoke.

Should make for a fun, worth watching post-Thanksgiving tilt.

(btw, neighbors 2 doors down are Buckeye alums and on the day of any big game, they fly an 'O' flag off their front porch).

Michigan is a better state than Ohio.

Yes, Big Blow shutout a team that had no QB the prior week, and let's face it....teams are going to play harder against two teams.... Last year's National Champs, and the Number One team in the nation...

    Oh wait...

    That's one team currently.

Every time I drive through Ohio on I-80 I get sad. Such a depressing rust belt state.

Grier suspended for a year for ped use. SEC East is now open for anyone to take.

I can never have a perfect year were the jets and gators are good, just can't happen..

I feel sorry for Sark. Of course we don't know exactly what went down but it sounds like a self preservation move by Haden who's been getting criticized for not handling the situation and letting it get way out of hand. I know that Sark was going through a divorce and obviously not handling it well. And USC had given him chances maybe too many chances. But usually a guy with a substance abuse problem is given a leave of absence and the school tries to help them. His last game as USC coach was against his old team the Washington Huskies. Maybe the worst thing that ever happened to him was getting his dream job at USC. He had done well at UW and had a good program there. A lot of problems at USC in recent years with coaches.

You're basically attacking every post of mine. It's a personal attack that has nothing to do with the topic. So you're derailing threads. If not explain the above nonsense.

    What a crazy monday.

Now Steve Spurrier "the ole ball coach" announces he is retiring-- effective immediately.

As a Carolina alum I am sad to see him go. Sadly I bet a lot of the dumbasses in the fanbase pushed him out. He will say it was his decision and I hope it does but idk

I'll let the mods make the call on this one. If they let it go then that's their business. But my last reply to you. So say whatever you want.

Browning you could see this one coming. One one hand Spurrier (esp. at his advanced age) is no longer going to be beating the bushes for the blue-chippers and as a result you're seeing the lack-of-talent now starting to reflect on the field, going from 11-2 in 2012 and 2013, to 7-6 in 2014, and 2-4 thus far this year. And South Carolina wasn't going to fire him (not publically anyway), not after what his did for the program during his tenure there. The amicable ending is best for all. Hell of a career for the former Heisman Trophy winner.
