Such a great game yesterday...I wonder what would have happened if we had faced the Blackhawks instead of the Kings 2 years ago or last year. Missed this team
Couldn't start the season better, whipping the defending Stanley Cup Champs on their home ice...that banner ceremony took 3 hours, it felt like

Great win vs Jackets, if anybody thought we would score 4 goals after 57 minutes (besides Jonny Delzotto) raise your hand. Positives 1 Hank very sharp 2 Stalberg/Lindberg/Moore line 3 Zucc 4 Stoll/Moore/Fast line 5 Solid effort by entire D (Boyle started both games on 2nd pair and ended on 3rd pair) * Blue Jackets play rough, we need Mcilrath in their tonight
Ron Duguay apparently isn't dressing like a circus freak this season. Not sure if that's cause for alarm or not.
he had some sort of queer eye for the straight guy makeover at the end of last season but now he just looks like a special needs retard the hair needs to return to his normal
I didn't think that would happen but quite honestly I did expect them to tie. That's just the kind of team this is and I have a lot of confidence in them Lindberg is doing fantastic, what a great timely development for this guy to be ready for the NHL this year. And Hayes just keeps getting better. This is how the Rangers stay good long term, just have to keep re-stocking the kids and moving select other guys before their contracts end (Hagelin)
The open net save was sick! …… so I guess the phrase "standing on his head" isn't just a figure of speech to describe steller goaltending. And his bang-bang-bang, 3-save Katie bar the door sequence in the 3rd was pretty darn good too. Btw Matt did you see Mats pull the trigger and whiz one just wide in the 2nd? He's turning into my favorite "shoot the puck Barry!" would-be sniper. That wrister of his the other night in Columbus was also a blur.
Joe that was probably the greatest save Hank has ever made, never quits on a play, fabulous. Zucc is primed for a great year. Love the 3rd and 4th lines. Stoll adds a veteran presence, a reliable line that can check the opponents top line with Dom Moore and Glass served his purpose last night, there were no runs last night. Miller-Lindberg-Stalberg has been our best line. Watch Stalberg on the backcheck, its a thing of beauty.
How about Oscar Lindberg, 4 goals, Swedes are famous for positional hockey, so you knew he would be reliable defensively, but he's got very good offensive instincts and a heavy, accurate shot...
