There's a little mental trap that you've tapped into here and it is a paradox: if you have to tell your players not to look down at so-called weak opponents that means that someone assumes that the opponent is weak and feels the need to combat that. This is the trap. As you hit on, it isn't necessarily a lack of preparation, it is the arrogance of assuming that the team you are about to play is much more beatable than another opponent. Even if this is true it will lead to complacency, or holding back when you need to go full tilt. But then we return to the paradox.... How do you make sure your players are focused without said warning. But this warning can have the opposite effect by telling everyone, "yea, I am saying this is a tough team, but the fact I'm saying this indicates that we all know they aren't." Otoh, if you say nothing..... and around and around you go. For me, that is the trap of these sort of games.
This is why your not a coach at least in the NFL. He got I think 10 starts u can't judge a QB on that.
He's a bad qb who throws way too many picks. There is no scout or coach who thinks he's a franchise qb, so stop. I've seen plenty of him to know he doesn't have it. Look this isn't a Fitz vs Geno argument so take it somewhere else. He didn't look that good. Philly handed him that game. They missed an extra point, a field goal, turned it over on a reverse after a big play, and Washington did nothing with all the mistakes Philly made. Redskins are going to be tough. Right down to the end. Its a big game in the sense that the Pats are the following week. I would like to see if Bowles can keep it rolling after a bye. He's giving them a lot of time off, like Rex used to, hopefully with much better results.

Saying Cousins sucks is a bit harsh he is very Geno like but a bit better. He is all over the map though and has tendency to throw some real bad picks.
