For the first time in what seems like a century the Jets are finally on pace to have a 1,000 plus yard reciver in Marshall assuming he stays healthy....His production has been amazing he can catch anything.Sure he drops some balls and laterals the ball every now and then but its nice to finally have a real weapon like him. In the span of just 4 games he already has 30 catches for 400 yards and 3 TDs.This is Mike Macs best move so far as GM of this team it has paid off early in a big way
If you look at his numbers he has had 7 1000 plus yard seasons out of the 9 he has been in the league and one of them was his rookie year
Lots of talk about how cohesive and supportive the locker room is right now. Marshall doesn't get all the credit, but the important thing is that he's not jacking it up.
Yeah, I mean, hard to argue with that. Not to mention, the best quarterback he has ever had is who . . . Jay Cutler? That's impressive.
Hall of Fame talent. Completely transforms our offense in the best possible way (we are comfortably winning games with Ryan Fitzpatrick - let that sink in). And yes our defense has a huge role in that but the offense has held its own and Marshall is by far its best player. When's the last time we had a HoF type receiver?
Marshall is doing a fantastic job for us. Hopefully we don't get rid of him too soon like we did with Braylon.
Gotta admit, I was a bit worried about the diva factor, but he's money in the bank right now (laterals notwithstanding).
Pretty sure Marshall retires a Jet after 2-3 years depending on how he avoids injury and continues to be productive. Here is to hoping for 3
The guy is a beast and the perfect receiver for a guy like RF to have catching the ball for him. RF is a chucker and needs a receiver who is big and physical and out fight the defender for the ball. Marshall was one of the best pickups we've had in FA in a very long time.
I think Marshall has been outstanding but it still hurts to think about how much better we could be with even an average arm throwing to him. I like Fitz too but we are leaving a whole dimension of Marshall's game out of the playbook and that's a little bit frustrating.
Ivory is awesome but not reliable. He gets hurt every year and never finishes the season - you can count on that. Marshall gets 1000 yards receiving/season his sleep, whereas Ivory has never hit 1000 yards rushing in a year. Of course, both players are vital to us.
Uh, the Jets obtained Marshall in a trade. Marshall and a 7th to the Jets for a 5th to Chicago. Btw this was an example of how a perceptoin that a player's contract was above market will lower the compensation given for him in a trade. Of course arguably now Marshall is more than playing up to his contract.
Oh yes my bad, one of the great steals in Jets history via trade then . Anyway you slice it Marshall is one of the main reasons our offence is gelling . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Marshall and Decker are pretty good combo and as long as Fitz keeps throwing it Marshall's way double covered or not he will be happy.
Brandon Marshall is a great player, and competitor. Decker is a savvy veteran that knows how to help the QB. They are vital to Fitz, and have to stay healthy or the O drops off. Enunwa's hand's are average at best, so far, and Smith has limited experience. But they're both capable of breaking the game open. So you keep shooting the ball downfield
Feels good to have a legit #1. It's been a while. Haven't been this excited since Santonio first got here lol
I've always loved Brandon Marshall. He's extremely consistent and he dominates the game, not many corners can guard him. The moment I found we got him I went out and bought his jersey. Hopefully he stays healthy and with us for a couple more years.
