It's simply amazing how we are always looking for a quarterback in the bust-heavy drafts. Our timing is just legendary. We are always one year off from greatness.

We should never have drafted a QB in the worst draft class in a decade, 2013.

    Fuck you John Idzik.

We should have drafted a QB in the best QB class in a decade, 2014.

    Mother fuck you John Idzik.

Failing that we should have tanked like Rommel in Northern Afrika and secured the top spot to draft Marcus.

Let's hope Petty is the guy we saw in his bowl game. A smarter Brett Favre.

I read those articles. But I don't see how those articles imply that Geno doesn't have respect in the locker room.

It was a comment about Fitz being respected. You seemed to be saying you've not read anything supporting that.

. . . would arguably be the greatest quarterback of all time. Yes, let's hope!

    That would be so awesome.

After all of this waiting, I don't just want a Superbowl. I want a 10 year run as an elite franchise. I want 4 Superbowls in like 9 years. I want it all. Give me a hall of fame quarterback. NOW.

That's why I was bitching and crying like a baby about Teddy and Carr and Marcus.

You can get a WC spot every few years and get summarily dumped in the first round with an average QB.

You need an elite guy, a super smart guy, to contend year after year, every game.

2013 fucked us and 2014 and 2015 were where we missed out.

I can't stand the "we could win with average".

    I want elite.

They only come around so often. But we might have lucked out with Bryce.

    I wasn't arguing that Fitz isn't respected.

Ahhh that's not what your response indicated.

Having said that, and with no video evidence either way, do you get the sense that Geno is respected in the locker room or not?

    Binary question.

    What's your impression.

    Yes or no?

    My response was about Geno.

I'm not in the locker room locker room so I don't know. But if I have to conjecture I see no reason why he wouldn't be respected. Do everybody "like" him probably not, but once you're on that level there is a natural respect that players have among each other.

    Lol nice answer.

Was a binary yes or no opinion question and the volume of syllables you dribbled out answered it.

    Thanks.

    No, you didn't.

    Hey, you like this pizza?

Well, in the context of crispy versus chewy and based upon my experience with Pecorino Romano versus Parm reggiano and taking into account the acidity of the tomatoes I think that some would argue it's less Neopolitan type and more deep dish Chicago so I can't really say who would prefer this over the other pizza we had last week in Irvington so I'd say it's really kind of up to the individual what they preferred.
