Wasn't pretty and worried about those injuries but still nice to get the W.

God. What an ugly win. Refs tried to kill us with penalties. Think Fitz will make it through the season,

Perfectly timed bye week, as long as none of the injuries are serious. This...is going to be a roller coaster ride of a season, but I'm sticking by my 9-7 prediction.

Great win. 3 -1, with 3 afc wins

Defense looked great. If it weren't for the punt returns, this game is a blow out.

Got two weeks to rest and prepare for redskins. I'll enjoy the bye as this time last year we were 1 and 4 with denver and patriots in a 4 day span.

Geno rarely makes plays with his legs and his decision making is below average. He doesn't take the smart option and Fitz does. Fitz obviously doesn't have a big time arm but he so far has been a capable game manager. We're 3-1 with him and were 4-12 with Geno last year. Is Geno a better Qb this year then in the past. We don't know, possibly but as Bowles says with no hesitation: Fitz is the starter. It's a no-brainer.

Pryor looked OK after the game running off the field.

Bowles said Leonard has an ankle sprain. Hopefully OK by Week 6.

No word on the severity of Powell's injury.

I didn't hear anything about Harris.

Vick had one of those 4 wins (probably our most impressive) Geno got the ones against the mighty Raiders, Titans and the infamous Miami game.

Very inconsistent come game time. Has a big leg, wins the job, but the inconsistency is a problem.
Coverage is weak too, gotta get that together. Scheme and personnel

WW can't have the punter costing you games, he has to go

    I hear ya.

Nice win, but we have warts that are very visible.

Still room for improvement on the roster, obviously

Fitz' accuracy is an issue also. He's not as accurate as I thought he was

No practice time together, or very little. Smith has missed too much practice all together going back to camp.

But Fitz' throwing is erratic at times, across the board. Relying on him solely would be a scary proposition. He needs the running game and the Decker's and Marshall's out there

I'm not worried about Devin Smith. The league has been spoiled the last couple years with fantastic rookie wideouts who are NFL ready at an unprecedented level. Beckham, Evans, Watkins, Cooper, etc.

It's unrealistic to expect this pattern to continue. If any rookie WR would have a steep learning curve, it's Devin Smith, who obviously was a one trick pony at Ohio State. This was more than likely because he was lethal as a deep threat and not because he couldn't run different routes. I think the tools are there, he just needs practice, more game experience, and coaching from guys like Decker and Marshall.

Great win, um, this morning! :p

I liked the 9:30am start .... you can go to Church, watch the game, and then enjoy the beautiful Fall weather in the early afternoon. I taped it and went to the 9:45 Mass, but you can go to Church before or after the game, still see the game live, and not waste the day. Or, if it's a rainy day, you can watch football for 12 hours straight if you want; the 9:30am, 1:00, 4:00, and 8:30 games! (then take an Excedrin and crawl into bed).

Can we have 9:30 starts every week? :D

Waking up at 8 on 4 hours of sleep never felt so good!

Game should have never even been that close. Couldn't bury them like we should have. That's what bothered me the most. Miami got most of their yards and their TDs on our stupid penalties. Refs were a bit harsh, though.

I'll take a 3-1 before the bye every day of the week.

Fitzy was ok. A few key misses.. Scary sometimes.. MArshall is a stud. Ivory is so pivotal to our team. IMHO if we had him and Decker last week against Philly.. We're sitting here 4-0. But, shit happens.. Oh, well.

GET HEALTHY, GET SHELDON, BEAT WASHINGTON in 2 weeks!!!!

    Good Sunday!!!
