Read what I wrote. Complain about Fitz all you want, we've always known his limitations. The Geno shit is just cluttering up the thread. Go start a Geno thread on the main board. _
No I am just not a blind homer. The refs have been pretty spot on all game (both ways) The worst call on game was the spot on a Miami third down, that we got the benefit of.
The difference is Fitz isn't turning over the ball. One pick but imo the PI wasn't called and it was obvious. Plus he's made 3 great plays with his legs to extend drives.
That's fine. I agree. However, Geno is a pick/fumble six machine. At least Fitz can manage the game and his INts are usually on deep balls.
Defense has played extremely well. One td was a gift. Offense, no we should have 40 plus points. Oline hasn't been great in pass protection today and Fitzpatrick hasn't looked good. His stats will lie, they wont show how he missed open recievers or how Decker and Marshall made great catches. There is a lot they need to improve on. All in all tho, they got it done. There was enough contact on the play given the way the refs are calling this game. If Gilchrist and Revis' penalties were both pass interferences and not illegal contacts/holdings, then so is that. The refs are looking to keep Miami around. The NFL doesn't want blowouts overseas because it'll detract interest from the game.
