He's very much improved Poe, the weak link now is Boyle, he's horrible, old, slow, and gets knocked off the puck in the defensive zone like a little girl
Pat Leonard @PLeonardNYDN 16h16 hours ago Vigneault: Calling Boyle's game not very good "would be an understatement," but vet gets "benefit of the doubt" Why?
Mcilrath statement game last night challenge/win the fight with the guy who ran Hank...sent Rinaldo into orbit with a beautiful body check after he hit Hank...played steady, smart, tough hockey and you can't teach somebody to be 6'5" 245 lbs, he is much improved
Yeah that was a pretty brutal beat down. The refs didn't stop the fight at all, Randell's helmet came off early and Mcilrath was landing one punch after another square on the guy's head. They were both looking at the refs like "ok I guess they're gonna stop this now" but no they let Mc pound the shit out of him repeatedly. That was the second run on Hank on the (preseason) game, shoved to the ice forcefully both times. I guess the refs wanted to send a message lol
We've added more size, speed, Stalberg, Etem, Lindberg, gotten younger, no MSL, Mcilrath, Lindberg, Etem and more gritty, Mcilrath, Stoll, Stalberg, Etem....better at faceoffs Stoll....the future is bright....LGR!
Likely according to AV Nash-Brass-Zucc Kreider-Stepan-Hayes Stalberg-Lindberg-Miller Moore-Stoll-Fast Etem McDonagh-Girardi Staal-Boyle Yandle-Klein McIlrath I think we'll find a way to trade Glass.
Considering all the immobile trash on the blueline (Girardi, Klein, post-injury Staal), you'd better hope Boyle's not going anywhere.
I hope your kidding, so Boyle Is better than Girardi and Staal? He's not even better than Klein....slow, small, old, weak and the biggest defensive liability on the team, the weak link on probably the best d corp, 1 thru 6 in the NHL
Dmen value 1 McD our best, all star, off year last year 2 Staal solid, no offense, any team would want this guy 3. Girardi tough, solid, any team would want this guy 4. Yandle can be our #2, has to prove it, any team would want him 5. Klein wild card, arguably our best dman till he broke his arm, value contract 6. Boyle contributes offensively, can move the puck, defensive liability, old, small, slow and gets pushed off the puck like St.Louis
Staal and Girardi ahead of Yandle? One thing you have to say about this thread: year after year, it always provides the most, umm, "unique" prespective of the Rangers you'll find anywhere.
Did you read the post or just automatically disagree with everything I post. I said Yandle If healthy can bethe #2. In the playoffs he was not good at all but injured. Your blinded by your hate for DG and MS, any other team in the league would love to have either one. Yandle had 52 pts last year but is defensively challenged
